In your opinion how well did Justin Timberlake do adopting 2010s music?

I think he and Britney were the best artists who debuted in the 90s at adopting 2010s music and trends. Can’t stop a feeling is really 2015 and he did a great job adopting new trends throughout the 2000s too, despite I would say Mirrors is pretty outdated for 2013

What's a Disney movie that you grew up with that isn't known or forgotten largely today

Obviously everyone knows Lion King, Toy Story, Little Mermaid, etc and even to this day they're selling merch and have good marketing power. But what is a Disney movie that is pretty much forgotten to everyone outside your generation and didn't get as much attention as the timeless classics

What would you say is the general consensus of Gen X today?

In my opinion they’re largely middle aged but the oldest Gen Xers are quickly getting old and will soon be widely considered elderly and retiring when the decade ends

Younger Gen Xers are solidly middle aged but the overall median age is aging fast as the cores are in their mid 50s very soon pushing 60

What is something from MySpace or old Facebook that would not fly today?

Maybe making fun of certain people explicitly and calling them offensive slurs, what else would you add during the early days of social media that would not fly today?

Wreck It Ralph should get as much attention or staying power as Frozen and Zootopia do today

I love Wreck it Ralph so much, it's literally so creative, great characters, and it's not only a 80s throwback but you can tell Disney put a lot of originality it making it look both from the 80s and also mixing timeless themes and designs in the movie. I just wish it got as much attention and marketing like Frozen and Zootopia do today, which are def the two most popular movies from the Disney Revival Era. It is such a fun movie

What generation vibe does Claude Frollo give off?

I know he’s a fictional Disney villain, sadly he’s not as well known than other classic villains, but what gen vibe does he give off

Would you say elderly people many many years ago were used to darkness or adapted to it quickly than today since they grew up with no electricity or when it was still weak and dim?

I can’t imagine that old people maybe in the mid century who didn’t grow up with electricity or when electricity was still not powerful and lighting was still dim from today had much stronger vision especially at night or they’re used to darkness.

Like the titanic passengers were likely used to the darkness during sinking since electricity was still technologically weak and the light bulb barely occurred 30 years prior. But today I’m sure we’d be so scared of being in the middle of pitch darkness on a ocean

What decade of music is played in most parties today

Parties like mostly all ages to cater to, it’s probably the 80s to today all sandwiched, with a lot of 2000s rap dances and 2010s is emerging quickly

Do you think "2016" is going to be the new "Y2K" as a umbrella term for 2010s nostalgia

I think almost everyone who aren't into decadeology will call 2010s nostalgia "2016" in the 2030s when 2010s nostalgia goes mainstream, like how people call 90s and 2000s nostalgia "Y2K" even its a huge range from mid 90s until around early mcbling revivals now

Each generations' childhood franchise that still has a lot of marketing power and relevancy to Gen Alpha and will be timeless in my opinion

Each gens' childhood franchises that are still culturally relevant with a lot of marketing power and will be timeless and multigenerational forever, you'll still see Gen Beta recognizing them in 20 years

Silent Generation: Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry

Baby Boomers: Peanuts, Barbie, Scooby Doo

Gen X: Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mario

Millennials: Pokemon, Harry Potter, Toy Story, Jurassic Park, Spongebob, Dragon Ball

Gen Z: Minecraft, FNAF, Shrek, Frozen, Marvel, Avatar

Gen Alpha (predictions): Among Us and Kpop Demon Hunters

I wonder how elderly Gen Xers are gonna be like in the 2030s and 2040s

It's going to be funny to see those old people in cruise ships, casinos, golfing, etc will be largely Gen X in 10 - 15 years, even tho they will be a much smaller elderly cohort than Boomers are today. Boomers will still be a majority of elderly during the earlier 2030s since they will barely be 80, but the second half of that decade will have a huge dropoff as they advance into their 80s and their health as Gen X will be seen as the old people since they will barely past 70 even in the late 2030s

I also imagine a majority of retirement home and old people parties will be playing 90s rock and even have arcade and early video games too

In your opinion when did 90s technology become fully obsolete and extremely outdated?

I think a majority of 90s tech was still fairly relevant in the 2000s, despite vhs was already irrelevant and CDs took over, but you still had a lot of analog in the early 2000s

It wasn’t until the late 2000s to the first half of the 2010s when smartphones, hd flat screen TVs and analog shutting down, and then CDs declining due to streaming and paid services is when 90s technology became really obsolete for daily life except for old people and old tech collectors
