When do cravings hit you hardest and what’s actually triggering them?

Most cravings aren’t random. They follow patterns, but we rarely track them, so they feel uncontrollable in the moment.

If you start noticing when they show up, you can interrupt the loop instead of reacting on autopilot.

Tiny action (60 seconds):
Next time a craving hits, open your notes and write:

  • Time
  • Trigger (what just happened?)
  • Feeling (stress, boredom, tired, lonely, etc.)

That’s it. No fixing. Just collecting data.

What’s one small thing your partner does that makes you feel unseen?

Most relationships don’t fall apart from one big fight. It’s usually the small moments of feeling ignored, unappreciated, or emotionally disconnected that slowly build resentment.

Tiny step tonight: Think of one specific thing your partner did today, even something small, and say a direct thank you for it. No speeches. Just 30 seconds of genuine appreciation.

Examples: “Thanks for checking on me earlier.” “I noticed you handled dinner tonight. I appreciate it.” “Thanks for being patient with me today.”

Come back tomorrow and share in the comments — did it change the mood between you two at all, even slightly?
