I just noticed it

It's a picture of me burning the anime freiren to a couple of dvd-r's to watch later, I can't really post it on the r/frieren because it has rules against piracy, I also can't post it on r/piracy because I don't have enough karma. I just like to share it

I bought this defective minolta 303si body online because I like to collect old things, and to my surprise it looked ok, there's no visible corrosion anywhere and when I put in some fresh batteries it turned on, and then I get to the reflex mirror, it turns out the sub mirror won't go up, and upon further inspection the little plastic nub that holds the end that makes it go up got shaved, I don't even know how or why it happened.

I replaced the vergical deflection ic but it still doesn't work looks like it's something along the circuit that's broken:(

I found this small Orion crt in the back of my dad's cabinet and wanted to see if it still works, well it does "work" but it only displays a horizontal line, I looked it up and it says the vertical deflection circuit might be broken

Today I found out The guy who made the dynamic dirt mod is banned, is he still working on the mod elsewhere? I really want to know if he's still working on it.

I really wanted to get into model trains at the time but couldn't really afford anything even the cheapest used ones so I made one for myself. :)
