Placidus vs Whole Sign - Which one to work with?

Placidus vs Whole Sign: How do you choose?
Hi! I’m studying astrology. I started with modern astrology and have more recently been exploring Hellenistic astrology because I wanted to understand more about the traditional astrology from which modern astrology developed.

I’ve noticed that astrologers seem to have very different approaches to house systems. Some use Placidus, some use Whole Sign, while others use a blend of both.
I’d love to hear your take: Which house system do you use, and why?

And if you use both, in what circumstances would you choose Whole Sign over Placidus, or vice versa?

For example, would your approach differ depending on whether you’re doing:

a natal chart reading

synastry / composite chart reading

a transit reading

a year-ahead reading

Would love to hear your thoughts and how you’ve arrived at your preferred approach! Thanks!

Help with understanding Weverse tracking order

Hello! I need help understanding the order tracking for my order on Weverse shop. It’s my first time ordering and the shipment is to Singapore. I picked PX as the courier. Based on the estimate, the order should have arrived four days ago. But current it shows as “Custom Clearance SG” on 17 June (even though on the same date, there is an earlier status of “Delivery in Progress SG”. Anyone knows what do these status updates mean, and if any delivery has been attempted?

Astrology - Empty houses

I have a question about interpreting empty houses in a natal chart and want to make sure I understand the correct approach.
When a house has no planets, my understanding is that we look at the ruling planet of that house to understand its influences. But I'm unclear on which ruler to prioritise:

Option A: The Cusp Ruler (personal to the chart): Look at whichever sign falls on the cusp of that empty house, find its ruling planet, and interpret the house themes through that planet's placement.

Example: If someone's 7th house is empty but has Gemini on the cusp, we'd look to Mercury (Gemini's ruler) and read 7th house themes through Mercury's sign, house, and aspects.

Option B: The Natural Ruler (universal): Look at the sign and planet that naturally rule that house, regardless of what sign is on the cusp in the person's chart.

Example: The 7th house is naturally ruled by Libra and Venus, so we'd look at where Venus falls in the person's chart.

Or is it both? Are these two layers that work together in interpretation?

I’m currently looking to take Feng Shui classes in Singapore and would love to ask if anyone has recommendations.

A little context: I’m currently studying Western astrology and tarot, and I also provide readings. At the same time, I’m interested in learning Feng Shui as a way to help people better understand how to maximise their space, and to uplift themselves and their environment.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!
