My room feel disjointed, how can I refine it?

I'm going for a goth sea witch, gothic and where I can't get that motif I go for more nature or whimsigoth. I do share the room I'm in so I can't do too much with furniture placements. I have a lot of wall decor and I'm thinking of moving it around but I don't know the best way to arrange it. The little crowded shelf is my religious altar but besides that I'm happy to change things. I have a friend who said to wait because changing the room too much can also cause stress ( were both neurodiverget and that's why).

If a HP was based in your country, what would be apart of the magial world?

Harry Potter is originally a British series, giving a lot of English things like school houses a magical reputation. If it was based in your country what normal parts of your culture would be seen as “ magical”?

France 1950s every day life and resources

I'm interested in doing more research to everyday life in post-war France. What was it like? What was school like after the occupation? I'm especially curious about queer life as well. Are there any books or documentaries you would suggest?

What is your opinion of the magic school trope/ setting?

I'm curious about other people’s opinions on the fantasy academia/ magic school trope. Let me know if there is somewhere else I should post this instead please. When I was younger it was everywhere and now as an adult author who kind of wants to write the trope I no longer see it. Is it a “ dead” and unpopular trope now that people are tired of seeing? What are your favorites variations of this setting? I like The Magicians and how they decided to have a magic college instead of little kids.

Why do people say your mad or start laughing at you when you win a calm arguement?

For example, you’re having a calm conversation with a minor disagreement then when you look up the answer or are proven right they change topics and start exaggerating how upset you are. “ You’re so mad, you need to take a pill, etc”

I know about the misspelling and it won’t let me edit the title.

It’s my first time watching and I just watched Meredith’s Dad hit her and are both of her parent supposed to be impossible to deal with? She’s super empathetic and contemplative and I expected her parent to be somewhat similar but there both bad in different ways and even abusive and I was wondering if they ever mention it before? Her mom was super ambitious so whe she became super lucid I wasn’t too surprised tha she was cold and mean but the dad being physical was more surprising. Of course they’re not unrealistic I was just surprised and wondering if I missed something other than Meredith refusing to touch the topic of her dad and his family.

I published my first ever comic book, yay! But it’s a little disjointed. It’s the beginning of a series and I’m wondering if I should re-do it with all the new skills I’ve learned so it’s a stronger start or if I should move on to the next issue as planned making more of a noticeable timeline of improvement. Or I could redo issue 1 from a different perspective in the future long after the series finished. Originally the first issue is in an American comic book format, but after research and heavy feedback the rest of the series is going to be more long form formats similar to manga in volumes as it serves the narrative better.
