Nobody is helpful. You have to catch people in the bakery sitting just to find any stupid ass skid who had a cooperative bone in their body. These motherfuckers wouldn't offer their light to a moth if it was the fucking Eye of Eden.

Does anyone think this is practically a single-player game? I have met ONE(1) person who I've met several times in game and actually had good conversation with. I'd say I'm the common denominator but, common denominator in what? Pressing the Call button? Trying to share Light? Trying to actually get WL?

What a bunch of fucking self-loathing losers this game is full of. I genuinely can only imagine the most vapid pieces of shit sitting on the grass at the fucking Aviary with their cohorts of braindead friends doing NOTHING.

I absolutely contest that Jacket is some kind of incorrigible killer. The game even blatantly makes that obvious based on his conclusion, where he is essentially self-absolved on the balcony after releasing all of his spite and trauma.

REGARDLESS, I also have to say that it doesn't make him any less responsible for his actions and HE KNOWS THAT. CONSISTENTLY THROUGHOUT THE STORY JACKET SHOWS HIS COGNIZANCE OVER THE INFORMATION PRESENTED TO HIM. HE LITERALLY USES THE NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS TO SPELL OUT WHAT IS HAPPENING TO HIM.

I'm sorry, but a traumatized war veteran who is literally in a serialized trap of violence and nationalist grandiosity- ultimately being played by some jerk-offs with a sewer system OP.

The joke had always been on the player for surmising and jumping to conclusions about characters personalities based on their actions we see in the game, so what makes some folks so self-assured when talking about the lore? As I'll say here, nothing I've said or that even can be gleaned from the game is definitive. There is no "canon timeline" and no reason even suspect a particular timeline in HLM is the correct one, as there are already THREE APPARENT ONES SHOWN in HLM1, forget 2.

I'm just saying ultimately that before we make garbled tier lists and opinion-pieces/schizotheories let's actually become learned about the subject LOL
