Hello, my father created this cipher in his free time and sent it to me. I've tried to figure it out but I can't, so he told me to put it online to see if anyone here can solve it. I can't really provide a transcription. If you do decide to try and solve it - good luck!

He sent it to me with the caption "I made this one for you son. I hope you like it. When you are 70 years old you can open the safe and find the answer." I dont know if the 70 could have anything to do with the cipher, but I thought it might be useful.

It works and if anyone wanna copy it I took duct tape and made it in the shape of the DS hinge barrel thing (I don’t know its name), then taped over the broken hinge part (only having the sticky part touch the DS and the side that is in contact with the newly made barrel having reverse tape to make it non sticky to prevent friction). I mean.. it works.. right..?

I changed out the disc drive and it all seems to be working well, but I checked the message board and.. 37 hours in a day? Is this a glitch or something? I just thought it was funny.
