Yamaha 150 to transom torque and double nut

From what I can find the 12mm bolts that hold the Yamaha 150 to the transom get torqued to 55 ft-lbs. Each bolt is double nutted with full size nuts, no jam nut. Can anyone verify the torque and is there a torque sequence for jamming the nuts together? Thanks for any help.

Engine mounting bolt double nut or nylock

Installing a turboswing on my Yamaha 150 and the engine mounting bolts use double nuts to lock them in place. When removing them I put the socket on the back nut and both nuts unthreaded together. I took my time as they got pretty hot and were not easy to back off. They were still locked together after removed. I tried to break them apart just to see if I could and I couldn't. Not sure if sealant is holding them together or galling. Anyway, is there an advantage to double nutting vs using a nylock?

Any idea what went wrong

Made a instrument panel for my boat out of aluminum. Painted it and then clear coated but got some bugs in the clear coat. After it dried I lightly sanded with 220 then wet sanded with 1000 and repainted. Let it dry for 24hrs. Just sprayed with clear and it immediately did thiswhen wet Going to sand it all off and start again but not sure why the clear made all these spider web designs when I sprayed it.

Do you chamfer holes in gelcoat

Running cable for my fish finder and installing Seaview cover. Do I chamfer the edges of the holes to reduce gel coat cracks or not a worry? Thanks for and replies.

What are the two black boxes?

I recently bought property with a shop built in 2003 that has a 12x20 garage door. I thought the black boxes might be the reverse sensors but I notice they have what looks like antenna wires on them. The opener uses a Genie remote so thought they might be for that but then why would there be two. I don't have a ladder tall enough to get to them yet but if they are reverse sensors I would like to move them to where they should be.

Club Car ERIC Charger Fuse Location

My Dad plugs in his 48v Club Car in his barn and heads south for the winter. We had a big spring storm and a tree took down his power lines which have since been repaired. I was helping him get his place open and he mentioned his golf cart isn't charging. The top light circled in the pic blinks amber. From what I can research so far it sound like a fuse (?). He is older and uses his cart to get around so any help would be appreciated. If it is a fuse is it located on the charger or in with the batteries? Heading back to see him in a few days so looking for possible solutions.

Should this be hard pipe?

Bought a new to me house that has this gas line running to the shop 80ft away. Built in 2003. Should this be hard piped above grade?

I recently purchased a home with a shop that has a 20ft x 12ft door and a 10ft x 12ft door. The 10ft door has reverse sensors and the 20ft does not. I don't have a ladder tall enough to reach the opener to see the connections but do 20ft doors generally have reverse sensors?
