Haven't played Magik in a couple of months and I'm currently working on rebuilding my positioning and game sense, but i'm lost on her combos. I remember when it was portal>spin>dash>M1>melee cancel. It seems like players aren't utilizing that specific sequence much anymore. What combos are you guys running for Magik in the current meta?
And if possible, could you include when and where I would use them?
Ever since her nerfs I've seen this combo not used much anymore:
M1 = Primary
Mp = Monster piercer
M1>uppercut>Mp>M1>follow up>Mp>M1>dash>Mp>M1[Along with all other variations that include weaving in primary fire during the uppercut]
Lately, top-tier Elsas seem to completely skip weaving the primary fire between abilities, opting for a streamlined version instead:
M1>uppercut>Mp>follow up>Mp>dash>Mp>M1

I feel like this team up does no extra dmg than his base kit. I just spin around my target tickling them than being an actual threat. I mainly use it as mobility to dash throw frontline and kidnap a tank/enemy.
How do I properly use this team up.
I’m considering upgrading my current PC instead of building a completely new one.
I bought a prebuilt HP Omen 40L in 2021 and didn’t know much about PCs at the time. I understand hardware better now, but I’m still not sure whether it makes more sense in 2026 to upgrade this system or start fresh, especially with part prices going up. Overall, the PC works fine, but the fans are kinda loud even when my room is cool, and I definitely need more than 1 TB of storage. The main uses for this PC are gaming and office/school work.
Any advice is appreciated. My main questions are:
What GPU would be a good upgrade from my current card?
What kind of storage drive(s) should I add?

I’m struggling to get consistent value on Elsa. I usually end up with high damage and eliminations, but very low final blows.
Most of the time, I bring enemies really low, but then I’ve used all my cooldowns and need to reload my primary. A teammate ends up finishing them off. It feels like I’m relying too much on my team to secure kills, and overall I make less value compared to with other DPS mains (Bucky, Storm, Phoenix/Hela).
From what I’ve seen and been told, the typical playstyle is farming ult/meter off tanks, then off-angling to pressure squishies, and most importantly NOT DYING. But even when I land combos—like hitting an uppercut—I can’t seem to secure the kill. They either get healed, gain overshield, or use a movement ability to escape. And since I’ve already used my primary during the combo, I’m stuck reloading and can’t finish them.
Sometimes I lean too heavily into just staying alive and playing safe. Other times I try to be aggressive to secure a pick—and I do—but then I die right after, and now my damage is cheeks until I build my meter stacks back up.
My aim is around 49%, so it’s not amazing, but I feel like I’m hitting enough to secure more final blows than I am.(Might be cope)
I’ve been taking notes since I started playing her, but I feel like I’m missing something fundamental. What am I doing wrong?
