✨🎄What Christmas piece do you think sounds the most beautiful on harp? 🎄✨

I’m getting ready to learn my first Christmas piece (I need a long time to practice cos I'm a beginner), and my teacher said I can choose whichever one I’d like!
Would love to hear everyone’s favorites especially pieces that you think sound magical or lovely on the harp🥰

Shoes I brought to my trip

I brought with me:

- Flipflops for hotel (currently wearing!)

- Green Roger Vivier pump which my husband gifted me from his recent work trip. Will be wearing for the first time with my black dress, but unsure how else to match

- Black Roger Vivier pump, I usually match just to my jeans or black dress

- Loro Piana loafers for my neutral dress code

- Loewe slides which is one of my absolute summer favorites. They're very comfortable!

How to stop the buzz when re-playing a note?

I began my harp lesson just a month ago and am at a stage of re-playing the note that's already played (second picture; first picture is my rental harp!).

Whenever I replace my fingers on the string, it cuts the resonance(?) from the previous pluck and the ringing abruptly buzzes/squicks 😖 I can't seem to stop this. I tried grabbing the string hard but I can see that this is not the way to do.

This is especially harder on the lower scale as the strings are thick metal.

How do you place your fingers to replay notes without making them squick?

What do you think of this Book Tote?

I saw the small and medium yesterday, and find them cute =)
But I tend to be a fashion terrorist... so want to ask for an advice whether it's a yay or nay.

La Prairie Routine+ hits/misses

I’ve been using La Prairie since my late 20s, after moving to a much drier climate completely wrecked my skin barrier. I was living on prescription ointments and flaring from almost every brand I tried.

Then I found the Skin Caviar and Swiss Ice Crystal lines, and they were among the only products that didn’t break me out, so I stayed.

I’ve tried other brands over the years out of curiosity but always ended up coming back. Now in my late 30s, most of my recurring purchases are from the Pure Gold and Platinum Rare lines.

- Morning routine: consists mostly of lighter products. In winter, the cream changes to the Gold cream (mixed with Gold balm). White Caviar's good for warmer season.

- Night routine: depending on when I'm using the tretinoine, I use the cream/balm.

- My husband's routine: negotiated down to using just these 3 products. He's anti-skincare.

- Never to purchase/choose again: There are definitely a few products bought out of curiosity that I’d never repurchase. The worst among these is the sunscreen (bought this Jan but doesn't seem to be on official site anymore); peels no matter what. The handcream, I chose as one of the gifts so I didn't have to waste money, but it leaves an unpleasant sheath of grease. The night oil I bought because I missed the Swiss Ice dry oil that got discontinued long time ago, but wasn't impressed. These are all being liberally applied to my feet until they're done.

- Non-LP products I like: Cle de Peau's cleansers, La Mer hand cream, SKNV tretinoin, and Lancome sunscreen. La Mer sunscreen I bought a few months ago during a trip, it's ok. I loved SkinTx's C12 serum (used to steal my mom's!) but since it got discontinued, I've been using SkinCeuticals C serum; it's ok.

- Travel kits: if it's a short trip I usually bring mini tubes I get from LP, and if it's a longer trip, I bring these mini containers ones (also samples).

- Not in the pic, but I've also been long term user for the Skin Caviar Concealer/Foundation. The cons is that the colors are hard to match (I get 2 colors and mix) but the texture and expression on the skin is very good. I moved from Armani Luminous Silk (was also good) long time ago.

What do you think of the quality of these pieces?

I'm considering to purchase one of them. How would you rate the quality of these pieces?
I understand there would be premium fees when purchasing in North America, but would also like to learn how much these pieces are usually rated for by jadeite professionals.
Haven't looked under the light but they seemed transparent enough, especially the pendant on the left since it's thinner.

My husband went to France and came back with Roger Vivier pumps for me! The black one I've been thinking of getting, and the green one, he picked out for me. Yet to think of how to style the green. Now I have trio of RVs =) (first was my yellow wedding pumps).

I’ve also been trying to replace my discontinued loafers and had eyes on Loro Piana for a while. The Summer Walks were always sold out on the web, but I randomly checked back last week and they were in stock! Got two pairs since I duno when they'll be restocked again.

I'm looking to get an apple green jadeite, animal figure and came across this item. The size is close to what I'm looking for, to use as everyday pendant. But still being a novice, I can't figure out whether it's treated. Would appreciate any advice you could share!
