Finally got to plat as an Anran one-trick!

Not only did I get to plat, but I also got the Chinese girl to level 100! To put it into perspective, my second highest level DPS is bastion at level 16. Compared to the time I took to leave the trenches of bronze and silver---which was about 120 hours---this took me about 4 total hours of playtime!!! I could've gotten there sooner but I stopped playing the game for a while because my friends stopped playing ow and moved to Valorant. The rank reset definitely helped a lot since it got me from gold 4---my rank last season---to gold 2 after I finished my placements, after that it was somewhat easy to get to here! I'll probably derank back to gold 4 tomorrow but this is definitely a milestone.

First unmanned ship in Duna!

For the first time, I was able to send a probe to a nice and stable Duna orbit!

This last stage of the probe runs on an ion engine with a painfully low 0.42 TWR. It still has 14k of dV though.

I got science from both Duna and Ike, 16 experiments in total. Once they are processed in a lab, I will probably be set off for life and never need more science again lol.

The probe dipped and got its periapsis to 49km, which was coincidentally the border where the atmosphere started and made me even more science with the instruments onboard.

Looking for feedback for my schedule planner

These are the classes I want to take and have taken in high school. I will be in 11th grade after this summer ends and have already taken both semesters of physics during summer school. As far as I am aware, this should be a valid schedule meaning that I should be able to take all the classes in it. Also, I was planning on taking AP Physics 2 in my senior year but to be honest I am not sure whether or not I'll be able to handle the course since I have heard that it is very difficult. I want to attend a good university such as Georgia Institute of Technology and this schedule revolves around having a good transcript for an engineering major at those universities. Lastly, my high school is actually a STEM High School, which is why I can take in-school internships and some electives such as mechatronics.

Left the trenches of silver after one tricking Anran for 120 hours 🙏

(yes, my gameplay has been bad for 120 hours)

Gaea Station orbiting the Mun and first Crius deployment!

After a few days of planning, I sent two small, unmanned probes that docked with Gaea in order to provide both fuel and delta v just so it would be easier for Crius to tug the entire station to the Mun with as few complications as possible. The unmanned probe Crius was deployed once in Mun orbit, it gave me lots of science from the East Crater and safely rendezvoused with Gaea. I got about 1k of science from this, and the lab still has lots of data to work with!

Critique my Power System [High Fantasy]

There are 5 main rules that magic itself abides to, they are called Rendan Laws in honor to the person that discovered them:

Law #1: Core magic systems are not be affected by oaths.

Law #2: The maximum range for controlled attacks is 5–10 meters. Users cannot go over or under the cap for maximum range while being unarmed. Using weapons that have been imbued with magic, the range is improved above the upper limit.

Law #3: Magic that has not been liberated cannot change states of matter. Physical manifestations of magic that are still being acknowledged by the caster as “being used” not change states, no matter what the circumstances a manifestation is in. Once the manifestation is liberated, the element created will change states or attributes into what it should be at its current state.

Law #4: Users cannot directly use active magic from other users to change their own magic. A fire user cannot use the oxygen created by an air user to create hotter flames.

Law #5: Oaths will not directly affect other magic users in a negative way. Oaths require giving up something that is relative to what is being asked for. The worth of the item being gave up is directly related to how important it is for the user.

Law #5 brings me to my next concept of the power system, oaths. Oaths are made by magic users with higher entities or themselves in order to accomplish a something. In order to create a valid oath, users must give up something that they consider equivalent to their request. To put it in perspective, imagine that two different users ask for a slight increase in speed and offer 2000 magic units from their reserves. One of them has magic reserves of 4,000 units, whilst the other one has 20,000 units in their reserves. The first user is giving up half their current reserves so it is considered valid, whilst the other user's oath is considered not valid since 2,000 units are not of much impact to them.

There are two types of oaths, permanent oaths and one-time oaths. Permanent oaths are most commonly used to compress a sequence of steps in order to create a new spell/skill that takes less effort than manually following said sequence. Single-time oaths are mostly used to accomplish simple tasks with less effort than normal. A magic user can have multiple oaths active at the same time as long as they do not conflict with each other; if two oaths conflict with each other then the user has to cancel one of them. Cancelled oaths do not give refunds.

Magic itself acts as a high density gas that is stored inside the soul of a magic user and is summoned by the cerebellum of the user. The magic that is manifested puts a strain on both the physical and spiritual cerebellum of the user. That means that continuous use of magic can kill somebody. The amount of magic a user can take out of their reserves is defined by their magic input. The magic input are the amount of magic units per second a user is able to take out of their reserves to then pass it through their cerebellum, the input is set to be about ~7 times less than their entire magic reserve. Once magic is taken out of the reserve, it is interpreted by the cerebellum and converted into a physical manifestation; however, there is an amount of magic that is lost after the cerebellum interprets it into physical magic, this is called transmission loss. The transmission loss is calculated with m/5, where m is the magic input. After magic is interpreted and finally converted into a physical manifestation, the output will be the input minus the transmission loss.

Magic can also be efficient or inefficient. The more efficient magic is, the less it will take to cast spells and hence, last longer. Efficiency can be improved with the use of weapons that are classified as Elemental (made up by mostly magic and very few materials that are not mainly created by magic) and Basic (made up of normal materials that mainly conduct magic instead of being magic themselves) in a scale from 1 to 5, 1 being the best. Magic users are classified using a similar system as well.

I am unsure on how generic the system currently sounds, but what I am completely sure about is that the following two characteristics might increase its originality.

Some users souls' are conceived with a Magic Enhancing System, MES for short. Magic enhancing systems are non-physical objects engraved into both the body and the soul of a magic user, they give the user a unique trait to their magic that directly improves it. Magic enhancing systems can be awakened in battle. An awakened MES will unfold the soul of the user in an area around them to efficiently deliver attacks that depend on the type of MES and user magic. There are two types of magic enhancing systems, passive and aggressive. Passive magic enhancing systems gives their user a direct enhancement that improves their fight/survivability and applies a constant intangible effect on anyone inside the awakened MES. Aggressive magic enhancing systems give their users finer control of their magic and improve efficiency, when inside an awakened aggressive MES, other users will get attacked by tangible and devastating blows that will heavily damage other users, hence the name.

Magic vibrates at a certain frequency. The soul of users vibrate as well. When an experienced magic user enters a deep flow state, they are able to temporarily synchronize their soul with their magic in order to achieve what is called Synchronized State, or Synchrostate. When synchronized, a magic user will unlock an average of 2 new spells that cannot be done normally, the synchronization will increase their efficiency, completely remove transmission loss, increase the current magic reserve by 10 times, and significantly increase other basic attributes such as speed or strength. There is a catch, however. In order to stay synchronized the user must be in total focus all the time and any subconscious feeling of defeat will kick them out of the state. The longer someone stays synchronized, the higher the demands for focus are and the higher the recoil if the synchronization fails. A failed synchronization will severely damage the cerebellum and drain 95 to 99 percent of the current magic reserves. The main way to safely desynchronize is to get a subconscious feeling of victory, a subconscious feeling of defeat will result in a desynchronization as well.

That's mostly the core of my power system, I really think that writing this helped me polish my series bible quite a lot! I would talk more about the characters but that would be off topic. Feel free to send feedback for it to improve :)

Gaea Station is officially in Kerbin orbit and almost ready to leave!

The Gaea Space Station (GSS)™ is a space station that, while unfinished, focuses on two main traits: acting as a relay satellite and as a science hub. The GSS™ currently has four souls on board, two of them being scientists, one pilot, and one engineer. GSS™ can host up to 5 different vessels and take their science to use it in the lab on board in order to get even more gains out of it. It currently has one unmanned probe, Crius™, equipped with various instruments that lets it act as a rover (I'm unsure if there's a better word for it, English is not my first language) that can explore moons and get basic science to then come back to the main ship and increase said science. Crius™ can also act as an engine to move the entire station forward, though its current engine (RE-L10 "Poodle") is relatively weak. Crius™ will be constantly improved until it meets the criteria to be a reusable lander that is not limited to moons and can go to a celestial body with an atmosphere.

I have plans for the future that gives the GSS™ the feature of acting as a gas station for vessels as well. I think that it will definitely be possible since the station itself is constantly being improved through my own improvisation as well as new technology gotten from the science it gives.

The amount of times I had to rendezvous with this thing has made me go to sleep at 4 am, as well as making me go crazy. Also, why is it pronounced raan-day-boo, it sounds French. I don't like France.

The centrifuge is there for emotional support.

Columbus-2 deployed in Minmus!

This rover is the descendant of Columbus-1 that was first deployed on the Mun. Unlike Columbus-1, Columbus-2 has a trailer-like attachment that has a SC-9001 Science Jr. and a mystery goo containment unit; since these two science instruments are one-time use, they will be detached from the main body of Columbus-2 to get rid of their weight once they have been used. The only problem that might come with it is that--unlike the Mun--Minmus does have time periods where the planet itself block comms to Kerbin, meaning that in those time periods Columbus-2 is unable to move.

First unmanned landing in Minmus 🙏

Sadly, I couldn't take a pic of the landing itself because my highly developed brain forgot to put landing gear on the vessel, so in order to get the science I had to do little hops with a 23 ton vessel just so said vessel didn't flip over and had to start all over again lol. Now that I realize though, I didn't get the Mystery Goo observation of the lowlands and missed out on 20 science points sadly.

Meet Columbus-1!

Columbus-1 is my first rover specialized on getting science in the mun surface. It has a Communotron 16-s antenna, two battery banks, 8 solar panels aiming at every direction to make sure that it doesn't have any blind spots, an lastly a thermometer and a pressure meter. I wouldve loved to add more science-collecting things but those are the only two things that were small enough to fit in the rover sadly. It also has an experiment storage unit to save experiments that have already been sent through the antenna, they will be collected by a kerbal later to get as much science as possible :)

What are those blue orbits

As the title says, I want to ask what those blue orbit things are. Right now I have only two vessels but none of them go through those orbits. It also says that they are from the agencies Moving Parts Expert Groups and some other one whose name is too long and don't feel like typing.

My first time orbiting Kerbin!!!

After a while of figuring the game by myself I was able to put a spacecraft in orbit for the first time!!! I ran out of fuel so Jeb will stranded up there for a few years until I figure out the docking mechanics lol
