first ever apartment!

(for some reason it wouldn’t let me post without adding a photo so this is the one i chose)

Hi all!

My boyfriend and I just got approved for our first ever apartment (with eachother and in general) (we have been dating for 4 years). We are both super excited for this new journey and starting this whole process together. As new renters, what are some must do’s before fully settling into the apartment that you have done to make your experience more smooth and enjoyable. The biggest thing I wanna do is deep clean the ENTIRE space prior to moving any furniture in. Other than that, what would you guys recommend?

purple mark on acrylic nail

i got my nails done on thursday (may 14th) and i noticed this purple mark under/on some of my acrylic nails. i haven’t bad acrylics in years so i forget if this is a normal thing. lmk your thoughts!

what’s the secretive stuff that mormons are not supposed to talk about?

as a never-mo that lives with mormons (moved in w my friends family, been living there 5 years) i’ve heard here n there that there are things in the LDS church that are supposed to be hush hush. i remember one of the daughters talking ab blood rituals back in the 90’s
or something like that?? so those who are finally free from the religion, what are some things that you were told to never talk ab and why?

Unsecuring a secured cc

(22y/o) when i opened my first cc it was the platinum secured card and i only put $100 (c1 matched it so my limit is $200). i’ve had this card for 2.5 years. i currently have an unsecured savor card with a $4,000 limit. i make my payments every month and i don’t run my cc limit up. i just got off the phone w c1 in attempts to unsecure the platinum card and they just told me the generic “we are always evaluating when to unsecure these cards, while there’s no definitive timeline, keep your card in good standings.”…. i’ve had the card for 2.5 years and everyone online says by 6-12mo, you should get an answer. what do i do here? do i max out my $200 limit every month (and pay it off fully obviously) to show that i need an unsecured card or do i close my oldest account and apply for another unsecured card?

(22y/o) so they tell you not to use over 9-13% of your credit limit but they want you to use more so you can increase your limit? that is so annoying! i would like a raise so then it could increased the 9-13%. i don’t wanna be that person that runs up my card bc im terrified of debt, collections, accounts closed, literally anything that’ll effect me long term. with a $4,000, what would you guys be spending on it every month? i usually spend only $200-300 on it monthly.

my derm is prescribing me this compound to help w my redness. thoughts on this? has anyone used it? pros/cons?

i’ve been using the ivermectin, metronidazole, and azelaic acid compound for months and it hasn’t done anything for me so now we are trying this.
