The fans of this show should never go into writing with how shit their ideas are.

People suggest actually GOOD ideas for the show but half the fandom doesn't want good ideas they want hot yaoi fanfics and "cute" Stolas family fluff and that's it.

Yeah Via COULD become part of the Stolitz BS but have you ever thought of doing something interesting with her character and do anything else?

I really like Octavia but...

Can this fandom finally acknowledge that she's almost an adult? She's not a little kid who still needs to be told that Santa Claus, or Tooth Fairy.

I genuinely like Via. I understand why she feels the way she does. I hate seeing her get hurt, and I hope she's one of the characters who gets a happy ending. But that doesn't change the fact that she's seventeen years old now. At some point, she has to understand that neither of her parents can spend every second of their lives catering to her.

I completely understand why she loves Stolas and why she felt abandoned when he left. I was angry at my own father too.

The difference is that Via can't honestly say her father never cared about her. Mine cared at first as well, but he was still a terrible father. He never hit me, but he put enormous pressure on me and was an arrogant narcissist.

I'm not saying Octavia is selfish, because I don't think she is. But sometimes it feels like she genuinely believes Stolas has nothing else to do besides devote all of his time to her. The reality is that every parent deserves to have some time for themselves.

Stella spends all of her time thinking about herself and making Stolas' life miserable. Meanwhile, Stolas spent seventeen years raising their daughter. The only things he really had for himself were his books and his plants. So it's hardly surprising that the moment his childhood friend came back into his life, he grabbed that chance.

And let's not forget that Blitzø wasn't just some random imp Stolas started sleeping with for fun. He was his childhood friend. For the first time in his life, Stolas had someone he loved romantically. Octavia will always be his Starfire, but she can't be everything. He also needs someone who loves him as a man, and someone he can love in that way in return.

Hell, Stolas was only eighteen when Via was born. His mother was completely absent. His father couldn't even remember his own son's name. He was forced into an arranged marriage while he was still a child.

And yet we're supposed to act like Octavia had the harder childhood? I'm not trying to dismiss her pain. I'm not saying she had it easy or that she should just stay quiet and never complain.

My point is that by the time Stolas was her age, he'd already accepted the life that had been forced on him and the responsibilities that came with it. Meanwhile, Octavia resents her father for finally finding someone he genuinely loves at a point when she's already almost an adult.
I'm not saying Octavia has to forgive Stolas overnight. Trust takes time to rebuild, and she has every right to be hurt. My point is simply that being hurt doesn't automatically make her right about everything.

The important difference is that Stolas never chose to abandon Via. Every decision he made was because he believed it was the only way to protect her or give her a better future. He made mistakes, absolutely, but neglecting her was never his intention.

People often treat Stolas as if he were simply "the parent" and ignore the fact that he's also a victim of the same system. He didn't choose his childhood, his marriage, or the life that was forced on him. He's trying to figure things out just like Via is.

yes it is true that it was really stupid of him to decide to die when he promised his daughter that he would not leave her.... But let's please realize how he was mentally. He really couldn't handle it anymore. He promised Vie that he wouldn't leave her because he didn't want her to be sad. And he also meant that even if he wasn't there, he would still live in her heart. But in reality he didn't want to live anymore. She was the only reason why he lived. Later that reason was Blitzo. But when he realized that he had nothing to live for anymore, he decided to give it up.

yes, he still had Octavia... But he realized that if he stayed, he would be depressed all the time, and he would ruin her life. And he didn't want that. I'm not saying that it was right. It's just that we have to look at it from his point of view. He didn't want to ruin his daughter's childhood, and he didn't want her to worry about him.

Can someone tell me why Stella is vilified beyond reason by the Helluva Boss fandom but like 80% of people in the Digital Circus fandom slurp up Jaxs bullshit with a straw?

And no it's not because it's different fandoms, there's a massive overlap between the fandoms.

The dumbest part is Stella probably has done less harm the the asshole rabbit.

Both abuse people psychologically and physically. Neither have made the discussion to "get better." Both clearly enjoy hurting their victims, Both are horrible people but honesty I think Jax is still WAY worse.

Stella's story is automatically more sad then Jax's story because she was basically giving away as a child bride and forced to bare a child. Her attitude is clearly a product of the system she was born into. She's a rape victim in the sense that she was clearly forced to have sex to have an heir and she makes that clear herself and, granted not from lack of trying, hasn't actually killed anyone.

Meanwhile Jax has a less tragic background that involves him going on the run after he thought he killed his mom, has 2 kills under his belt, that he definitely understood he was pushing his so called friends towards. Had fantasies of using his main abuse victims vulnerability and losing her main protecter as a way to manipulate her into sex.

I'm not saying that Stella isn’t a bad person I'm just saying it's kinda BS that people can't say anything about Stella that's anything short of wishing "that she's humiliated to the point of taking her own life after suffering" YES THAT HAPPENED, without getting screamed at, and don't even get me started on if you say that you want anything more for her character then evil cackling.

It's kinda hard to find a reason for this different treatment that's not just that one abuses the fandom woobie and the other IS the woobie.

When you say good things about Stolas in the main Helluva sub vs When you say good things about Stella in the main Helluva sub.

Once I'm allowed to post I'm gonna post so much Stella stuff so if I dissappear check a wood chipper.

People acting like Assholas and his scrawny twig ass is cute when the only bean pole in the Hellaverse that's cute is Angel Dust.

Stop calling Stolass cute, that a massive insult to my boy. Acting like uggo Stolas is anywhere near Angel's level? Girl GTFO.

What permanent consequences will Stolas get if Via forgives him again?

No seriously, like what? He's gonna get his title, wealth, and powers back, if he even wants them by the end of his banishment. Stolitz is endgame. He doesn't want anything else.

People already say the story coddles him what do you think is gonna happen if this man comes out of this with literally everything he's ever wanted?

Jax would be the type of trans woman who throws other trans people under the bus to insist she's "one of the good ones."

I'm not even joking. Jax is selfish enough to do that

SLANDER! SLANDER! Via doesn't look exactly like her father!

This fake news must be stopped. Via does have Stella's genes and they're probably most of her cutest ones too thank you very much!

First the obvious ones. Via has a grand total of TWO eyes. Not four. Via also has her mothers eye color on top of that.

Moving on, Via might have fluffy hair... feathers like Stolas but the texture is Stella's. Both Via and Stella has notches in their feathers that Stolas lacks.

I'd like to add that Stella’s hair might not naturally look like that. When she was a child her hair was fluffier so it's very possible Stella's hair is just styled like that. Via in the past notably had feathers were that lighter at the ends. Though Via's is more of fade Stella's hair feathers are similar in that she different colored tips for her hair, but instead of going dark then light Stella's goes light then dark.

Stolas's hair also points up most of the time, while Stella and Via's point down.

Stella and Via have the same lower eyelashes. Two lower lashes stick out more on both Stella and Via. As a child Stella also has the same kind of upper lashes that Via has now.

The pattern on Via's hands is also the same as Stella's but reversed. Via has white fingers but the rest of her hand is dark, Stella has black fingers and the rest of her hand is white.

Half of Via expressions are similar to Stella's, especially Via's smile.

The base of Via's tail is white like Stella's. In all likelihood that might mean her back is white too.

Don't know where else to scream about this. But people some people absolutely horrid and frankly concerning takes.

I'm now gonna be Stellas strongest defender because I need to be on the opposite side of people that think that the evil gene makes people homeless drug addicts.

It's funny how these two are in similar situations but one is pretty much justified for being pissed at her dad and the other is a ****.

It is always morally good to slander Charlie.

What Stolitz family fans think/act like you want when you tell them "Maybe Via will never like Blitz".

No seriously, why do Stolitz family fans act like thinking it won't or shouldn't happen is akin to a hate crime? I literally got told that that I have a "fetish for seeing gay men suffer" when I said that Stolas/Blitz might not get their perfect family.

Stolitz family junk is dumb. Via should make sure her dad fucks all the way off and become queen of the Goetia.

Via deserves the world, not a cramped apartment, a dad who's never gonna learn his lesson if Via forgives him, a bitch [literal] that gives terrible advice, and a Blitz.
