Does anything truly bother you in Ren videos?

Just an example, Money Game Pt. 3, Ren is playing the piano, we know it's Ren playing the piano, but there are no tattoos on his fingers either. End of the World, the closing shot, Ren loses his hat but still has his hat. I can't watch either of these without noticing.

There are no right or wrong answers...

... but fuck you anyway. It's been five minutes, and despite all the other questions you've answered, you said you bought frozen burritos 1-3 months ago, but not this month, so the rest of the questions might not be relevant to you. Here's $0.03.

There's a special place in hell for companies that say there are no right or wrong answers, and then screen you out for providing a wrong answer. SJ needs to do better.

Multiple pre-screeners

Sending someone through SJ's own qualification question, PureSpectrum, Samplicity, surveyrouter, then an Ipsos pre-screener, only to get the "we're seeing double" message after the actual survey loads is crazy. Five minutes... it took you five minutes and five sites to decide I've taken this survey before? It was supposed to be a ten minute survey.

Wait, what?

I just spent the better part of 24 hours getting to $10 so I could cash out $5 and they removed the fee?

Kantar surveys

I've probably taken a hundred of these over the last few months. Sometimes they work, sometimes they screen you out, but I have never once been screened out without a Kantar screen that says "That's all the questions we have for you today" before you have to click the arrow and return to the provider.

Until today. I was just pulled out of one mid-way through and immediately shown 5S's "Sorry, this survey screened you out. We have another survey available for the same reward. Do you want to continue with that survey?" That tells me that they are the ones screening you out as you get closer to cashout, not the provider.

Fuck these people.

How many people are gonna waste 5 minutes on this survey?

Qmee has to have the quota and know how many people they've sent through. If it's full, f***ing remove it and replace it with one of your equally shitty Nexus surveys.

Old man yells at cloud.

Comprehensive Playlist

Hey all, hope this is allowed, mods please mute it if not.

I felt like I was missing a lot of Ren's catalogue, so I've started working on a new playlist that includes every solo song, record release, and vlog post from Ren, his collabs, side projects, as well as his work with Trick the Fox, The Big Push, and any solo or group busking sessions I could find.

I'm only up through Hi Ren now, but there's 273 videos of back catalogue if anyone is interested. All organized chronologically (hopefully by release date, not by upload date where it matters). I'll keep adding to it over the next week, but need to take a break.

Many thanks to the ren.fandom wiki for leading me to some of the more obscure stuff, and to everyone that's posted random bits here and there.

Enjoy

Edit 7/20 - I filled in a bunch of gaps, a few older Trick the Fox posts and some pre-Covid stuff, plus a couple longer sets from 2022, and tried to remove any duplicates (different uploaders, same songs), now up to 349.

Welcome to the weekend

Not that weekends are any better or worse than weekdays lately, but wouldn't it be great if these actually worked?

Easy Romanian food?

Hey folks, I'm looking to cook dinner for my wife tonight, she grew up in Romania and has been feeling a little homesick lately. I might need to do some shopping, but can find my way through a kitchen easy enough. Anyone from Romania, now stuck in America, what are you go to comfort foods?

Longest pre-screener ever?

selfserve.decipherinc.com. 5S had them clocked at 8 minutes, and rated 4 stars. 20 minutes later, I've finished answering random questions ranging from cruise lines, to jewelry brands, to internet providers, to clothing brands, figuring, well, weird survey, but 95%, almost done. Nope, "Congratulations, you've qualified to take our survey about wineries! It should only take 15-20 minutes to complete, we're just gonna reset your completion back to 0%." Nothing in the time I just spent was about drinking wine (I don't).

I was not redirected, not screened out, I was in the same survey the entire time. 20 minute pre-screener that presents itself as a regular survey. gtfo. Same company that yesterday I said I've never watched a Star Wars movie or show, then proceeded to ask 20 minutes about Star Wars. I know that provider always runs long, but never been this shady before now.

Anyone else having a really rough day today?

I must have been screened out of 40 surveys, and it's not my demographics. Yesterday was totally normal. Been stuck on $3 all morning today though.

Anyone actually get the good reward with the 4th of July event?

Best so far is $0.75 for the $7.50/gold tier. Not great, but appreciated.

Ewww do not do this

I know I can put in whatever, but the fact that they even ask for that is gross. Regardless of if they pay out (spoiler, they did not)

u/StephenDoesStuff — 2 months ago

Do game rewards sometimes drop after you accept them?

For a nice change, no complaint about tracking or non-payment. I just don't know if I'm remembering wrong, or something else is happening. Had what I'm almost positive I remember as a $3.50-ish reward yesterday for reaching a certain level, I hit it today and it shows $2.45. That much at least rewarded, so that is not the issue.

And just in case... This isn't about payout, my cashout details are fine, and I have cleared my cache, though that has absolutely nothing to do with "minor" game rewards.

I just want to know if rewards can change "at will" after you've accepted and reached the first few milestones.

skip nexus and all-research

Don't bother. They will screen you out after completion every single time. Even surveys that consistently pay out. Someone's getting that money, but it's not gonna be you or me.

This is that pre-screener that goes from nexus branding to the one with the all blue screen that asks your age, sometimes gender, before you get to the survey. Survey provider itself does not make a difference. Seems like qmee replaced zamplia with them.
