Anyone ever tried playing jazz electric guitar (not bass) through this amp?

I’ve only known this to be a bass guitar amp, lately I’ve used it as a bass drum amp for my boss looper peddle with built in drum beats. I thought, why not plug my archtop into it (I plugged in a Herb Ellis Es165 with a humbucker) sounded ok. I wouldn’t use this as my main amp but as a guest amp or back up…..no reverb so it’s a bit dry but there are ways around that….i should plug my acoustic guitar into it…

Which one will you grab first to play jazz? 50’s, 90’s or modern (left is 2024, middle is 1954, right is 1992).

Future Buyers of Jazz Archtops, Hollow Bodies and Solid bodies

Has anyone thought about the shrinking number of (jazz) guitar players in the new generation of kids? Where are we going to be 10-20-30 years from now? Where is all the gear in collections going to go? Will there be buyers for all the guitars boomers and Gen X’s own? I’m starting to wonder. There is a lot of vintage guitars in collections that will need to find a new home. In a future world of automation/AI/Robotics, perhaps the pleasure of playing a wooden instrument made by humans will become a popular thing to do.

1954 and 2024, 70 years between them, think of all the music made in that time (1954 es175 and 2024 Heritage Custom Core H530)
