What are peoples thoughts on skipping the story when making a new character/alt?

In my case im not actually making an alt. I got through realm reborn, but long story short, i lost my data. Im thinking of buying the realm reborn skip as i don’t want to go through realm reborn again.

How do people view story skips in the context of creating a new character/alt?

Has anyone gotten/seen any reviews about the Geeone Edcell Breaker?

Am very tempted to buy but wanted to see reviews. How is it? Ideally does someone have the more expensive versions and can compare them with the cheaper one?

New player, am trying to understand why people say to not join dynamis?

I’ve read not to have your home world as dynamis because the population there is small, despite the advantage of double xp. I thought I understood this tradeoff but I learned recently you can just visit other data centers and use the duty finder there, and still get the xp buff.

How come everyone doesn’t do this? Just have dynamis as home world and use duty finder elsewhere? Is there some “disadvantage” to double xp I’m not seeing?

Feeling discouraged, is it progress that Im getting phone screens at least?

Graduated 2022, dont really have much to show for experience besides an internshop and a 6 month stint at a really crappy place.

Havent worked in my field(IT) since July 2024.

Around december I have been applying again, updating my resume, working on projects, etc.

I havent been able to get interviews, just phone screens.

Is it good I'm at least getting phone screens?

How to stay motivated/be productive while waiting to hear back during the interview process?

I’ve noticed about myself that when I’m waiting to hear back about next steps, or just got a rejection, that I become very unmotivated. I think it’s a combination of anxiety from what the response will be and getting depressed I wasn’t selected again that just drains me emotionally.

I feel I have no energy to apply anymore/be productive(applying for more jobs/working on coding side projects).

Has anyone felt similarly, and any advice to stay productive even when mentally and emotionally tired?

How can I explain I left a company because of a conflict of ethics/morals?

I'm trying to get back into tech, and one of the things I have going against me is my first job I only spent 6 months there.

I don't know how to explain that I left my previous company because it was a scam, was worried some of the things they were doing behind the scenes was illegal, etc.

I want to be honest but if it's screwing me in interviews then I'm willing to say something else, I just don't want to say something as robotic as "it wasn't a good cultural fit".

Please help? If want more information I cam DM about it.
