So I’ve done around 10 or so runs where they all go kind of to shit after I agree to help defend Tao qian(I think is the name). Cao Cao just tends to be way stronger. I had one run where I did defeat him in an insane battle where I was ambushed and another where I beat him and like 2.7k soldiers in an actual battle, but after those I ended up getting fried by other different factions, some guys to the north I forgot the names. And in the runs I beat him it took forever and just feels like a massive road block, so advice would be helpful, I’d also like to ask on the migrate south strategy I’ve heard about, I’m currently in a run where I did that after losing to Cao Cao again and I demolished all the stuff in all my settlements to come up with 30k to colonize the south, and it’s actually doing well. I like it but after this hopefully goes well I want to actually defeat the enemies in the north. But in case I wanna do the southern strat again I wouldn’t mind advice on that either, I only did it after I started losing so I wasted time before doing it and was wondering the optimal Strat.

I just witnessed one scyther and militor from a mechanoid ship solo 9 pawns, 3 of mine(they don’t really have good weapons tbf) and 6 of a outlander union visitor group with guns. Scyther tanked a bunch of shots and basically one tapped everybody 😭✌️ thank god I saved before hand

My brother wants to play some couch co-op games, he said he wanted more linear games where the main story is precedent.

I should have probably taken a pic before I left my computer but basically I started naked brutality 500% difficulty Cassandra classic and I’m not too good of a player but it’s been going pretty well. Started off with hypothermia into getting 7 pawns so far. 3 colonists 2 slaves 2 kids. I did almost die to a raid but got very lucky. Basically I had only 4 people, 2 pawns and 2 slaves and one of my pawns is unable to do violence and a raid of 4 melee yattakins happened. Literally right after I got a quest to harbor four pawns, one very gifted shooter adult, and 3 kids. My pawns and slave all got downed except the nonviolent one who was hiding, but the new refugees saved me and the 3 kids and their adult beat the 2 remaining yattakins. There was basically 3 kids throwing hands(knifes) with them. One of the kids died because I didn’t realize they were bleeding out since I was preoccupied saving my actual colonists. I currently have food production and a decent base, next I need to make much better defenses and transition from wood walls to stone. 23k colony wealth. Best weapons are a machine pistol and an auto pistol. My starter colonist has a tainted flak jacket and normal-masterwork quality plain leather duster steel helmet and plainleather buttoned down tshirt and pants. Next time I’ll take a pic for updates.
