Hi everyone. I'm 26, a stay-at-home mom, and I'm finally ready to get my GED, but I don't even know where to start.

I was homeschooled at 9 because when we moved to a new state, there weren't any special needs programs in our public schools for my sister at the time. Since my mom didn't want my sister to struggle, she decided to homeschool her along with me. But I ended up getting put on the back burner. As time went on we did less and less school until eventually I wasn't getting an education at all.

I've recently started studying for the Social Studies test but I'm realizing just how much I don't know. I honestly feel like my education is around a second-grade level, and it's been overwhelming. I've always felt embarrassed about it and it's something I've carried with me for years. I understand my mom had good intentions, and I love her very much, but I was robbed of an education.

For anyone who got their GED later in life or had a similar experience, where did you start? What study materials or programs helped the most? How long did it take you? Is it possible to go from having such a limited education to passing the GED?

I'd really appreciate any advice or encouragement. Thank you.

So on the 25th of June I shipped a 147 lb crate thats about 30×27". It's a toilet that I sold for $3700 on ebay and stupid me didn't insure it. (I know, I know, SUPER dumb) I thought at checkout I added it but apparently I didn't. Its currently under investigation but I'm so worried its gone. What are the odds it's found? Thank you

Edit: Not sure it matters, but it did have expanding foam in the crate, so it was packed in there tight. And handles were cut on the sides for easier carrying. It also said "dropped off at the ups store by customer" for days before I called
