And by off-meta, no AP Twitch, AP Kai'sa, Mandate Trundle aren't off-meta.

Here are some builds that caused me to get flamed because they're unplayable against the "god rolls" every single game :

- AP Briar : Ezreal quit the game at 12 minutes because "I don't play with trolls"

- AP J4 with Terrain'd : got called useless, ended up dealing the most damage

- AD bruiser Nidalee : dumpstered, outranged by adcs, mages playing URF, stat checked by tanks in melee range. Was doing fine early, got outscaled because no usable augment, only mage augments offered

- ADC Lillia (since for some reason she always get offered scoped weapons) Dogshit, int, don't.

- AP Yorick. Might aswell build anything since you'll never get useful augments beyond Ethereal weapon. Works, but getting flamed whenever I pick it.

Common denominator : ADC and mage godrolls render anything offmeta useless if :

- it requires to walk in their range

- you can't one shot them

- you have no stealth

so they get radiation poisoning

Holy fuck I thought you guys were just blaming your supp when you misplayed, but they're legit the reason botlane goes to shit.

They don't belong in this elo, they're really miles behind in terms of skill level.

Last game I spectated, my friend was on Ivern. His botlane was Thresh / Jhin, into MF Supp (?) / Kai'sa.

Both supports had 0 impact the entire game.

Botlane only won because the Thresh was feeding his brains off. Managed to be 0/6 at 7 minutes-ish, while Jhin was trying his best to just clear waves and play passively. Thresh ditches lane, goes mid, feeds the enemy Talon 3 more kills. Ended up in a surrender a few minutes later despite everyone else being neutral, but the Kai'sa was already 9/0, and mid couldn't contest anything anymore thanks to Thresh.

AP MF goes Rylai (?) first item, never wards anything, and only presses E every few seconds, legitimately plays like a bot. Doing nothing was more useful than the Thresh trying to do anything at all.

Checked both of these players match history, and they just "ride along" the win or loss most games. They legit don't contribute to anything, they're essentially glorified Yuumis. Win more, or be the reason you lose.

Like, I don't get what kind of fun you get of NOT playing League of legends and only being there for a Victory screen. And it's not like it's bad anymore thanks to all the nerfs to tanks. Now, people camp turrets for 15 minutes, ace once and rush to end. They didn't play for the entire game. Where is the fun in that. Why is Riot trying their best to enforce this gameplay with augments like Skilled sniper, 3000 haste augments for mages, From downtown, Shrink engine, Giant slayer. While constantly NERFING the means to get in and be relevant if you get in melee range.

Incoming the "but but but Sett broken he one shot me with his 3 gap closers" (actual comment I got on another post). But you forgot the first 15 minutes where he didn't get to play, or the 27 other game where he wasn't relevant.

And these same people will then complain "hostage holding" because the tanks finally scaled are are allowed to play the game. And then they come here and act like nerds mentionning "the summoner's code" (tm) "but but it says you should play to win 🤓"

Archmage : regarding charge abilities. If you have charges remaining (Teemo's shrooms, Heimer's turrets) and use another ability, it resets the timers of your charge (even if you had all 3 available) back to their maximum cooldown. Best way to "counter it" is spend all your charges at once and then use another ability.

Rite of ascension : will randomly disable an ability for the remaining of the game if that ability was "on" when you pick up the body. My AD Shaco did not have fun in that game after his Q and R got disabled.

3 games in a row that I play a tank, and the game immediately offers me Upgrade hydra and Sundered sky as my first augments. I appreciate the effort, but I will not build them on Maokai, Ornn and Malphite. Essentially give me less chances to get Steel your heart, Pressure cooker or Celestial body, as they're the only viable gold tank augments.

Seriously, I'm fucking tired of every mage having the same augments with 300 haste every game, every adc getting the same 75% crit augments every game, every tank having the same tank augments every game.

This is not even Mayhem anymore. Try playing anything off meta and you go 0/15, but then you get the 300kg men coming at you telling you to "stop complaining it's mayhem". Where is the rng when some augments have a 60% pickrate with over 70% pickrate?

Like you can't even attempt anything "Mayhem" anymore. You either play the meta or you're not allowed to play. Ooh you tried AD Ornn? Well too bad you get killed before you even get to step in because the 14th Zilean in a row rolled Eureka infinite Recursion Archmage

Genre y a quelques jours j'ai été passer le week end chez mes parents avec ma sœur, son mari (mon beau frère) et mon frère.

Vu qu'on a tous grandi là-bas, on connaît le village comme notre poche. À un moment donné, mon beau frère demande où trouver la boulangerie (qui se trouve à environ 1km, mais ça se fait à pieds). Mon frère lui "explique" sauf qu'il complique la chose, sans aucune raison.

En gros, le trajet c'est : sortir de la maison, prendre à gauche, et marcher tout droit (y a qu'une seule route mais quelques virages) jusqu'à arriver au centre, et la boulangerie est dans la même rue.

Les explications de mon frère : "alors tu sors de la maison, tu prends la première à gauche rue xxx, ensuite tu traverses en face et en suite tu prends à droite rue machin. 200 mètres après tu prends à gauche. Arrivé au village tu marches 350 mètres, tu traverses et tu y es".

J'ai vu que mon beau frère avait l'air clairement paumé (vu qu'il connaît absolument pas l'agencement du village), du coup je lui ai reexpliqué comme ci-dessus et il a tout-de-suite compris.

Mais c'est pour plein de concepts. Je sais pas si c'est une forme d'arrogance, pareil dans mon boulot. Des fois, certaines tâches que je fais pourraient être réalisées par des collégiens (genre de la conversion en pdf, de la mise en page, du proof reading), mais quand c'est expliqué par des collègues, ça paraît gargantuesque.

Ou encore du montage de meubles Ikea. Quand j'étais gamin / ado et que je voyais mes parents le faire, ça paraissait tellement compliqué. Vas-y qu'on essaie de comprendre où va chaque pièce et mesurer pendant 45min, et au final mettre 3 jours à monter le meuble. Maintenant que je vis seul (enfin, presque 10 ans maintenant), c'est tellement simple que ça me prend 2h grand max. Et je serais même capable de le faire avec un enfant de 7-8 ans. Alors qu'à l'époque on me disait "c'est un truc d'adultes c'est trop compliqué pour toi".

I queued for one game a week or so ago but found the game mode dull and terrible. I tried queuing today to give it another chance, but the queue time was over 15 minutes (EUW). I just logged off instead. Bad timing or legitimately dead mode?

I don't take this game that seriously, I only play rgms. But taking ARAM Mayhem as an example, I never go above or under a 50% winrate.

But it doesn't even feel natural, some games, a teammate will straight up obviously have a much lower skill level than everyone else in the game leading to a 4v5. I shouldn't be expected to win a 4v5.

If you didn't know, ARAM Mayhem has a hidden MMR. So I took a habit, out of curiosity, to see check the ranks of my teammates and of my enemies. Most over around diamond / master, or like me, unranked (meaning solely play rgms too).

Then why do some games, we have a teammate who goes Rylai's first item on Anivia, Udyr and Hwei, or Mandate on MF.

I don't mean to humble brag, but why are these obvious clueless players thrown into these games, if their sole purpose is making you lose

A non adc augment can break your game, it most likely won't get fixed anytime soon, since adcs can't get it. In the meantime, I'd advise to not pick it. Didn't experience it myself but it happened to my teammates 2 games back to back.

It can disable one of your abilities for the rest of the game. First game, our Jax who was our carry got his W disabled after level 11 when he got his first Rite of ascension. Made the game unplayable for him (he was AP / hybrid).

Second game, AD Shaco got his Q disabled, enough said.

How did we fix nothing. Everyone rolls their bis augment but you don't? Congrats you're a 5k hp 700 armor and MR Rammus still getting one shot by adcs, slowed for 45 sec by mages, proc combo break on repeat. And all you can do is hope to land a taunt after ulting and a teammate who high rolled kill them in that window

Unless you get Ethereal weapons, Vulnerability or Jeweled gauntlet (all 3 extremely rare, except, you guessed it, on ADCs), not a single ADC augment can be used on another class. While ADC can make use of any augments of any class.

Jeweled gauntlet and Giant slayer initially made for mages? ADC are the best users.

Infinite recursion? ADC can use it.

Goliath? ADCs can use it.

Heavy hitter? Dropkick? Yep.

Even Adapt / witchful thinking on a few works.

Meanwhile what the fuck am I going to do if I get Dual wield or Critical missile on Maokai?

This is the reason they seem to never "low roll". Unlike every other class in the mode.

Some like Nidalee require very few spears landed to level it up, Ashe requires like 5 to get it to max level.

I just got it on Zed, first level required 9 shurikens to land, fair enough. Second level required me to land 33 Q's, and double hits from shadows didn't seem to count. Got it as my first augment, didn't get it to level 2 for the entire game.

It's becoming harder and harder to trust Riot with anything anymore regarding this mode, and believing the augments weren't made with an LLM.

Genuine question. With a friend we have a bet, if someone types "ez" at the end of the game, they're always Emerald 4 in SR. So far it's nearly 95% accurate. We only play Arena, Mayhem, Classic and ARAM, and it's always the same.

They play an extremely "meta pick", they win due to either rushing to end in Mayhem, or high rolling in Arena, and afterwards spam "ez" in all chat. Is it a flock mentality or
