How to make junk mail appear in the iPhone Mail app’s junk box?

so for organization purposes I use the default mail app from apple on both my iPhone and MacBook so that I can combine my mail accounts to one platform. this works really well for me except for one odd issue.

on my macbook everything works well, the accounts recognize the mail app’s own boxes such as inbox, draft, junk etc. so both my gmail and outlook appear in the correct boxes so i can keep it organized.

however on my phone, the mail app has all the right emails in the right inboxes for gmail, and almost works perfectly for outlook as well. except that it creates its own ”outlook junkbox” and doesnt automatically recognize the one provided from the mail app which means that I can’t just quickly use the ”all junk” box provided by the mail app to quickly Scan over all the junk emails, but have to manually go under outlook tab to specifically see that email’s junk mails.

so i wonder how do i get it to recognize the mail app’s junk box. it did it automatically on the macbook computer but on phone it doesn’t seem to recognize it.

How to subscribe from duplicate calendars?

i suppose it’s an automatic calendar subscription when you connect gmail as internet account and allow it to access calendar.

other I don’t know, maybe it’s just what’s default in iPhone?

but both have a calendar for holidays so basically now everything shows twice.

i know I can just hide one of them so it doesn’t show twice but is it possible to just unsubscribe from lets say the gmail one and only keep the default iPhone one under others??

i can’t find an unsubscribe option in either of them. they make it seem like its unsubscribable by having it literally say ”subscribed” under.

What’s the difference between the calendar options under iCloud menu?

under iCloud there is two settings for calendars.

1 called iCloud calendar and one just called calendar.

what’s the difference between having one toggled on and off and not the other etc.

Are we heading towards a post-streaming era?

what I mean by that isn’t that I think music streaming in general will likely go anywhere anytime soon, but rather that the popularity of songs on streaming platforms have less and less cultural relevance.

A lot of this is purely anecdotal, but I feel like I’ve seen people agreeing, but having a well streamed song seems to be less and less important for pop cultural relevance. looking at the biggest songs of the past few years, they’re getting billions of streams but are surprisingly comparatively irrelevant at driving pop cultural influence. Compare that to 10 years ago where the most played songs were also the topic of discussion on internet platforms, news spaces, social media etc.

I wouldn’t say it’s quite there yet since there are still some well streamed songs that have their impact, but I’ve noticed that the generations who are in the driver seat of pop culture, specifically related to music, are not really the people who actually listen to music. They consume and share music on other platforms such as TikTok. Their version of “listening to music” might not be to actually listen to a song from start to finish, but rather ”listen“ to music on social media platforms, but in snippets and with fun videos attached.

So many new well known songs will have fewer streams, while a song with a billion stream can be less known by a larger portion of the population.

so basically how did it start to appear? it seems like they’re all usually promoted through going viral with sounds on TikTok. this very like retro, a bit sleepy sounding, always the same type of instrument which sound like they were recoended using older technique. also the same type of effect on the voice often. think back to being friends by sombr, earring Malcom Todd, even this new song that appeared self aware by temper city. by extension you might even include songs like babydoll / white keys by Dominic fike (though there seems to be more hiphop influences there, but the ground recipe seems to be very similar). Almost like a TikTok wannabe retro sound.

so in my home country on my normal bank I have it set up like this:

  1. private account (which is where debit card draws money from, where salary goes, and can send money transfers internationally). but it has 0% interest rate

  2. under same login I have savings account with interest rate that I move all money to instantly since it’s same access and same bank its instant. and it also means I don’t have too much money that could be accessed using my debit card if it gets hijacked or whatever. so there’s the safety reason and also interest reason.

Is this possible with Santander Spain? the accounts seem different in every country. some countries I could find some account for saving with interest. but on the Spanish one I couldnt seem to find it. at least not one with instant access and free movement and withdrawal of money.
