Could anyone help me find a curry restaurant I ate at a month ago?
EDIT: SOLVED! It was Currytiner in Ropponmatsu.
For some reason I was dumb and only took one picture of the plate, and not the building itself, so I'm having a terrible time finding it. It was cash only, so no credit card statement. Here's everything I know about it:
It's Japanese-owned and in the style of spice curry but didn't sell generic "spice curry" plates, but rather various named curries based on Indian, Thai, and other South Asian dishes. I don't remember any of the names unfortunately
it's on the west side of Fukuoka city, I found it right off of a main street while cycling mostly backstreets from Itoshima toward Yanagibashi Rengo Market, probably about 30 minutes from my final destination just south of the market
There were a couple of table seats, and I sat at the counter
Menu was a pick 1/2/3 option
There was a large TV next to the counter continuously playing Japanese-directed street food videos set in India
Got a shot of mango lassi for free
It was a standalone place and there was no one else there at noon, so probably not a top choice shop, perhaps because of its off-center location
If any of this rings a bell, please let me know. I'm losing my mind.
