Was rewatching House of the Dragon before season 3 and randomly switched the audio to Hindi for a bit. Expected it to sound awkward because fantasy shows usually get very over-the-top in dub versions, but this was surprisingly normal.

The dialogues still feel serious, the politics are easy to follow, and none of the characters sound unintentionally funny. That was my biggest fear honestly 😭

I think what worked for me is that they didn’t try too hard to Bollywood-ify the lines. The whole world still feels like HOTD, just more accessible if you’re more comfortable watching in Hindi like my parents

Even my parents ended up sitting through an episode because they could properly follow what was happening for once.

honestly the PR strategy from whitefox right now is insane. just staying dead silent and let the internet tear district to shreds over an event that whitefox organized.

as someone from the industry, i understand everyone being upset but please do 2 mins of research before grabbing your pitchforks. district js sold the tix whitefox created the mess you walked into. wake up lol

I'm a fein for good punjabi music and the last month has been stacked for Punjabi music. Shubh dropping heat, Diljit doing what he does but personally, I’ve been stuck on Bawra. It’s got that raw songwriter energy that you don’t really get with the massive commercial projects. It’s a banger but feels way more personal. Definitely the sleeper hit of the month for me

somehow found a table at Late Checkout through District at the absolute last minute and booked it instantly without even thinking twice. not exaggerating when i say the relief alone made the food taste better 😭🤌🏻
