Looking for any weekend events that you can bring your dog?

I I work all week long, but I really would like a night out on the town. But I don’t wanna leave my dog at home on a weekend when I can be home with him. Does anybody know of any places that are open on a late Friday or Saturday night that you can bring your dog?

Can someone please tell me what this means?

I’ve been noticing this interesting thing physically happening to me. I’ve been noticing it more often frequently. You know how sometimes you go into a department store and you spray perfume and it accidentally gets in your mouth, right? it’s the worst, You end up tasting it all day long. Well recently, I have been getting that taste in my mouth of different scents without anything doing anything before hand. One time it was at my mom‘s house, one time it was at my house, and I’m just noticing it more. Does this mean something? The fragrances are different each time, and I don’t put anything remotely fragrant next to my mouth before it happens. This is really strange.

Lamps are my favorite pieces of decor

I love decorating with lamps; there’s so many different textures, colors and moods that they can bring to a space. I wanna share some of my favorites that I have (yes, I decorate with all of these). I have found every single lamp and or lamp shade while thrifting, which makes them so much more unique!

My 37f boyfriend 44m does not have any financial discipline

I (37F), have been seeing my boyfriend (44M) for almost three years, and he is still in a bad financial situation. My boyfriend and I met about six years ago but only began dating about three years ago. When we met, he was going to school to become an MA with the goal of working/studying to achieve higher degrees towards nursing. Fast forward three years and he had a really great job working for the local military base medical office. He was making good money and doing well, but he makes poor financial decisions and now he has nothing to show for it. He was fired from that government job and has been doing Uber and Lyft in the meantime. I’ve recently been asking him if he plans on getting another job, but he has since applied for some type of social security income. He lives with his dad, and “takes care” of him, so he thinks he can qualify for ss. His dad however does not need a medical attendant though. His just doesn’t do anything, therefore my bf does it all (driving, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc). He gets his veteran check every month (once a month), and he has a side job training dogs, but for literal pennies. It costs more in gas to get to the training than he makes at the training. Plus, as soon as he gets any money, he immediately spends it. Don’t get me wrong, I have not made the best financial decisions in my life, but I have learned the hard way and understand how important a budget is. I know he has poor credit, a lot of debt but I’m not sure how much. He opens new line of credit often to get money to pay for bills, no savings or safety net.

Anytime we have done any “big” experiences, it’s almost always been on my dime: trips to Disneyland, date night dinners, gas for motorcycle rides, concerts, weekend camping. . . I pay for it all. I’ve never put pressure on him to pay for everything because I understand that trips to Disney are expensive, but we do a lot more than that. However, a weekend camping trip is only about $60-$80 for us and he hasn’t helped pay for any of them (I camp a lot). He pays for lunch at Costco sometimes.

I am not a gold digger. . .I don’t ask for much. But I would love to be told I’m being taken out and everything is covered. I get so nervous and embarrassed when he goes to pay for things because more than once, his card has declined at the register, and I end up covering the bill.

I, on the other hand, have a steady job and income. I pay for my apartment and all my expenses on my own. It can get tight at times, but I have never asked him for money. This is where I am really struggling because I moved into my apartment in March, and since then, he has asked me three times for money. My issue lies with the fact that I am on a TIGHT budget now, because living alone is expensive in So Cal. He wasn’t mad when I asked him about getting a job, but he did seem offended since he said he can’t find a job. I’m not sure how hard he is trying to find one, but I also think he shouldn’t be putting all his eggs in one basket with the ss.
This may be where I am being selfish. . . I don’t want to be the only one taking care of these things. I want to be able to quit my job if we start a family, but I KNOW I would never be able to not work and take care of a baby at home.

I’m just not sure where to go anymore. I mean, he’s 44 and doesn’t have anything stable. Idk.

How do I handle this?
