Does Anyone Else Have Emotional Support Handbags? Because I Think I Have a Problem. 😂
I’ve been in the rep world for a hot minute, and I’ve probably purchased more bags than any human being should ever own.
I don’t know why I think I’m a Kardashian when my life is really an episode of Forensic Files, but yet here we are.
I’ve always been fairly reasonable with my shopping habits, so why in the hell do I spend so much money on these stupid bags?
Although, I will say, I’m on a GLP-1, and I’ve genuinely wondered if my food addiction just packed its shit and moved over to handbags.
Has anyone actually studied this? Because I have questions. 😂
My bag addiction got significantly worse when Dumpy Pants came back into office.
I swear, every time something in the world makes me anxious, angry, or sad, my coping mechanism is apparently buying another fucking BK.
I’ve decided these aren’t handbags anymore. They’re emotional support bags.
Recently, I’ve had to rehome a significant portion of my collection. I have surgery coming up, I’m paying for everything out of pocket, and unfortunately, some of my beloved bags have to go.
It’s made me reflect on this hobby.
I wish I could be a normal person who thinks five or six beautiful bags are plenty.
But NOOOOO. Apparently, I want 50 or 60.
And the stupidest part?
I’m not even adding any diversity to my collection! I like to have a diverse group of friends, but not my bags? Like wtf ?
I’m buying the same damn bag in every color imaginable. It’s like I’m running a handbag rescue organization where no color gets left behind.
“Oh, you don’t have a home yet, little Bamboo BK? Come on in, sweetheart. We’ll make room.” I’m shocked I don’t have a house full of stray pets either!
And now that I can’t buy anything until after my surgery, what am I doing?
Making a motherfucking wish list.💩
Planning what to replace, what to keep, and what to let go of.
DO I REALLY NEED A BK IN EVERY COLOR? No I do not. The real estate this shit takes up in my brain…🤌
And if you managed to get your bag collection under control, HOW DID YOU DO IT?
