Bulgarian hot pepper?

Bulgarian hot pepper?

I got this seedling at a swap and it said it was a Bulgarian hot pepper. When I google it they look more orange like carrots. Any ideas?

What is this?

I got this from a seedling swap and the tag said gold ghost x pink tiger, but when I look at the photos online it’s a different plant/pepper. Any ideas?

This weeks harvest :)

I’m so happy with my container garden this year. Some bumps in the road, but I’ve got some good harvests
I’m not sure what to do with the tomatillos, jalapeños, and orca

Stunted Bali?

I got seedling of a “Bali pepper” from a woman who saved and brought over seeds herself. I’m not sure what the exact ID is.

I transplanted it the same day as the pepper in the back, a Bulgarian hot pepper plant. The seedlings were about the same size. The Bali pepper is obviously smaller and hasn’t even began flowering yet.

Im not sure if it’s because of the type of pepper, or if it’s because of the volunteers I’ve let grow beside it. I figure some basil and chamomile wouldn’t interfere with its growth, but now I’m not so sure.

Any thoughts or knowledge on “Bali peppers” would be greatly appreciated!

My mystery snap bloomed!

Got this as a seedling and had no idea what color it would be! The leaves are looking stressed (probably from the sun?) so I was worried it wasn’t going to flower

Disappointed in Menards Master Garden brand soil

About a month ago I purchased Master Garden™ Organic Premium Raised Bed Mix and New Plant Life Mushroom Compost from Menards. In early June used it to fill some large pots for tomato and pepper seedlings.

The quality of the soil is not good. I found plastic mixed in. It doesn't have good drainage and it drys out quickly.

About a week ago I noticed a few of my tomato plants leafs looked strange. I posted pictures in another sub and was told it looks like herbicide drift.

I noticed that the only tomato plants (three of my seven) that were effected were in pots with the Menards soil. The issue could be to do with herbicide drift, compacted roots, and/or inconsistent soil moisture.

I do not recommend that anyone buys this soil. It is only sold at Menards and there is no way to rate or review product on their website. If stores are going to sell exclusive products there should be a way to provide feedback.

Top leaves looking crazy I

This week my tomato plants leaves started growing strangely. Just the top leaves/new growth. Any ideas why? 😭 I feel like I failed my babies

My seedlings got crushed!

I posted my seedlings a few days ago and since then someone drove over my cells! Oh well, my garden is in a car port so it was bound to happen.
Two out of my three remaining zinnia cells have two seedlings each. Can I grow them together? Should I separate them once they’re big enough to transplant into the ground? I’m not sure (・・?)

What’s growing with my dill?

My dill came up along with a few other sprouts! I know one is basil, but I’m not sure about the other two. They kind of look like they’re in the mint family?

Edit: In Illinois

Should I repot?

I’m a container gardener and I potted this gold ghost x pink tiger in a 3.7 gal pot a few days ago. I know I should have at least a 5 gal pot, but this is all I had.

I realized after watering that the soil level sunk down more than I expected, and I could have planted this higher up.

Is it worth it to take it out and add more soil? I’ve never grown a hot pepper like this so I’m not sure how finicky they are.
