Looking for fixes for my active subwoofer that keeps disconnecting. Is it an electrical issue? AI recommends me a RCA ground loop box. Is there anything I could try before buying ?

Finally found my type of jam and trying to expand my music knowledge. Currently obsessed with The Alchemist, starting to explore A tribe called quest and Sade which both are in the same slow, thoughtful, late night type beats. I’d love to hear recommandations of albums or artist that might make it to my playlist!

Recently found a Nakamichi SoundSpace5, 3 disc music system for 125$USD on FBMP. Sellers says it’s like new. This and a subwoofer would be my entire sound system if I decide to pick it up. Problem is, I don’t see much information about it online other then it looks amazing. It would be either that or go for a 300$ ish budget system. Thoughts?

Not yet started in this hobby, but I wanted more experienced opinions on this matter. So, is it better to splurge on one component, whatever it may be, or spend evenly on all components? If this helps, I’m thinking of getting a cd setup. CDs are going back in trend and actually owning my music makes it all better. I’ve found a NAD c 538 for 225$USD on FBMP, which would be about 2/3rd of my total budget. I could retrieve old amplifiers and speakers from my parents to complete the setup, but would rather ask before spending. Thank you for your time.

Recently picked the game up with no past experience with another Civ game or any similar games. I bought the black beard pack after fairly little playtime, maybe got once or twice to exploration age and never properly ended a game. Problem is, the friend I played with knew Blackbeard is very naval concentrated, so he didn’t make any buildings adjancent to navigable water so that I couldn’t take advantage of my leader. Plus the AI we played with were on another continent that I couldn’t access. What should I do in this situation? And, how good is the unique quarter for RoP? The healing seems good but having to send all your boats to base to heal seems worst then telling them to sleep it off.
