Is it okay to eat with hands at Indian restaurants in the UK?

I normally eat with only my hands whenever I eat curries , but I was in an Indian restaurant yesterday and I was the only person eating with my hands. And I’ve realised, every-time I’ve gone to a restaurant that serves Indian curries I’ve only ever eaten with my hands.

I am not south asian but wondering if this is okay with the staff? I don’t want to be rude

First pre mod 2 lesson today, feeling really disheartened and disappointed with myself.

Instructor drilled at me a lot, even though it was for good reasons still felt quite horrible.

I wouldn’t shoulder check before indicating, and I wouldn’t shoulder check before slowing down.

Also sometimes I would take left turns in position 1 or I wouldn’t undertake cars while they are taking right turns.

Hard to recognise when some roads where changing from 20 to 30 in time, and wouldn’t go high enough gear during roundabouts, normally id stop and just stay in gear 1, go into gear 2 but wouldn’t do it quick enough, because I apparently its harder to control the bike that way.

Lots of new information, when he would tell me things id try make these changes, especially with the gears. He told me I’m staying in gear 1 for turns so I tried to switch to gear 2 while taking before taking a left turn quickly and stalled the bike.

Yeah felt really shit today, he said I was normally better than this.

People who got their car licence after obtaining a motorcycle licence , was it easy for you?

Especially driving a geared car, did the motorcycle training carry over? Make you more confident? Or was it completely different

Just got home from my MOD1 test and wow.

Everything was going well until I did slow speed, driving in a straight line and I stalled the bike. Ive never done that before and was so pissed off at myself.

Continued the test, aced everything else but was just feeling shit because i stalled.

Then suddenly he said I passed, I was so surprised, I dont even know how. But apparently it was because when I stalled I was quite next to the box, and I didn’t start the engine back up to continue I kind of just sat there.

But aye I passed im so happy

Why are bike license laws so unfair in the UK?

Im doing my A2 and on one of my lessons I was with a man doing his DAS.

While I’ve ridden on a CBT, then doing my A2 he has never rode , now gets to just get onto an unrestricted license?

He kept stalling at the lights , he kept making mistakes. But yeah once he passes he can buy a 1000cc and I’m on a restricted license .

How is that fair?

Anyway its too much money. Once i pass my A2 Im done. No more license. Im not paying for an A license and im not taking my mod 1 and 2 tests.

Is A2 enough for life?

Can you manual the handle the bike anyway on your mod 1?

It’s just I’ve been taught to hold the handle bar and the side of the bike , but honestly I prefer to just hold both handlebars and go backwards that way.

Im genuinely convinced Super Bike Factory sold me a bike with no front ABS and didn’t disclose it.

I bought my first ever 125 my first ever bike from them, I bought it around this time last year. First time riding only had a CBT never knew anything about bikes.

I remember once having to stop very quickly , was probably my first time on the bike and I slammed the front brakes so hard to come to a stop my rear wheel lifted.

I just thought this was normal and at the time my lack of experience led me to only using my front brake instead of both. (I know use both)

Well I hit a pothole a few months ago and my rims bent took it to the garage and they told me that my ABS wire was disconnected/ broke and it must of got caught on the rims when I hit a pothole.

I started taking A2 lessons and the emergency stop drill and of course now using my rear brakes more , I know what ABS feels like.

My bike has never had front wheel ABS and I’m not sure how I can even prove that SBF did this?

I mean I’m alive and well , but i genuinely think the ABS has always been broken and I was never told this . Are they even legally required to disclose this?

I can’t be the only one who thinks the song that won “Eurovision” is just a complete rip of western African music

I think it’s called bangoranga? When I first saw the video it was low light and I thought she looked black. Then hearing the chorus to me it’s just an Afro beat/ EDM rip off

Just had my first A2 lesson on a 500cc and I don’t understand the hate on 125cc

The bikes are basically the same? Just one can speed up a bit faster . In my opinion as I was riding it felt the same as a 125 , actually because we were riding around town I think a 125 would actually be better
