The Railroad’s Password is Genius and I’m Tired of Everyone Saying it’s Not.

Exactly what the title says. I’m sick and tired of everyone saying the Railroad’s password is dumb. Tinker Tom made that password and he’s a mad genius. And what the fuck do you all know? 90% of you googled the password and didn’t even solve the puzzle.

To add, Tinker Tom doesn’t operate on an Island. The team around him knows of the genius and further enables it and themselves, namely Desdemona. She took one look at that password when Tom presented the plan of the fallback base and went with it. You know why? She knows genius when she see’s it.

Think on this, when the switchboard was discovered and ransacked by the institute, did the institute find the railroad’s new location and password. Fuck yeah they did and guess what it didn’t matter. The institute came to the same conclusion all you “genius” people made and said, “the password to the railroad’s entry is railroad, fuck that’s dumb keep searching.” That the fucking genius of Tinker Tom right there.

Finally, did any of you even guess ‘Railroad’ when you got done with the freedom trail? I know you fucking didn’t.

That’s it. I was just tired of how unappreciated the railroad is. Show some respect.

Why do the Gunnar’s attack on sight?

What the title is. I just don’t get it. They are mercenaries who need to get hired right? What if I wanted to hire them?

I’m visiting a school in Malden and one of them ran at me to hit me with a crowbar. Shits crazy. Is this how people in the wasteland treat each nothing? It’s simply rude.

I didn’t want to kill all of them. But once I killed the crowbar dude, they all started firing at me. What’s up with that? Why didn’t the leader ask everyone to hold up. Why not just threaten me to leave.

Sure I would have killed them all anyway, they got good shit and my boathouse needs curtains. But it’s simply just the way emotions of the matter.

Namely the emotions of disdain for them. I huffed some jet just outside and killed 3 mutants, I would never call them super, outside. Who do they think they are?

Anyway, I understand raider motivations. Why do Gunners shoot on site.

Why Fuck Does Preston Send You to Tenpines Bluff First!?!?

Exactly what the title is. I’m doing my 110th survival playthrough and the first fucking settlement he wants to send me to is Tenpines Bluff. It’s always tenpines bluff. Why should it be there? It’s stupid far east and it’s not on the way to anywhere. It’s fucking stupid.

There is a settlement real close by called Abernathy’s Farm. It got a real close beginners quest to find a locket and kill some raiders. It’s the fucking perfect beginners quest. Or you could even add it to Sturges’ dialogue during the settlement setup quest. “We need to grow food. Can you go to this farm I heard about nearby.”

But Nooo, The first settlement he wants me to fucking help is tenpines Bluff. Where even the settlers question their fucking sanity for trying to make a go of it.

Or send me to starlight drive in. I talk to the fucking fuckers, or at least Mama Murphy fucking knows, about going to diamond city. At least the starlight drive in is on the way to Diamond City.

What possible fucking idiot thought it made sense to send someone to tenpines bluff in the beginning.

Here’s my beginning every time.
Player: “I need to go to diamond city and find my boy.”
Preston: “tenpines bluff needs your help.”
Player: “fuck you, that’s out of my way.”

I 29M broke up with my girlfriend 29F over wasting my time

I 29 M have been dating 29 F for about 7 months, since November 2025. Sometimes she goes out with her friends and I don’t mind dropping them off especially if I have something else I have to do in the city. Anyway yesterday she said they’d be ready at 810pm, so I got there at 810pm and long story short they weren’t actually ready to leave until 945pm. She knows I’m taking an exam next month to try to get back into school and my time is tight these days. During this time her friend keeps commenting about “I’m no fun”. I don’t really like confrontation esp with women so I just waited and dropped them off. Called her this morning and ended it.

UPDATE: this is probably the third time.
First time was on her birthday. I planned on her being late so I made multiple dinner reservations

Second time. Her and her friend had a birthday dinner they were maybe 45 mins late

TLDR: broke up with my girlfriend for wasting my time

I feel good about my decision, but just wanted to see what others think?

Americans Question How Mexico Affords Universal Healthcare With Vacation Money

WASHINGTON — News that Mexico is expanding universal healthcare has left many Americans asking a simple question: “If they can afford it with our vacation money, why can’t we?”

The question gained national attention after several reporters asked lawmakers whether tourism revenue from American visitors was helping fund Mexico’s healthcare system.

“Vacation money?” asked Senator Robert Finch. “Jesus Christ. What do they teach in school these days?”
The senator then spent the next forty-five minutes explaining what he described as “Basic International Healthcare Economics.”

“Mexico doesn’t fund healthcare with tourism,” Finch explained. “They fund it with narcotics. Switzerland funds theirs with money laundering. Japan funds theirs through gacha games. Canada has the maple syrup black market.”

Reporters immediately questioned the senator’s claims.
When asked whether he had any evidence, the senator pulled out his phone. “Have you seen Raiden Shogun? She’s amazing.”

“How much did you spend?”

“That’s classified.”

The senator then continued his lecture. “Look, every successful healthcare system is built on a competitive export industry.”

He then unveiled a chart labeled Major Sources Of Universal Healthcare Funding.

• Mexico — Narcotics

• Switzerland — Banking Shenanigans

• Japan — Gacha Games

• Canada — Untaxed Maple Syrup

• Norway — One Thousand Years Of Compound Interest On Viking Raids

• United Kingdom — Empire Artifact Acquisition

Several reporters noted that the United Kingdom’s healthcare system appeared to be struggling.

“Exactly,” Finch replied. “Since the empire has collapsed, they ran out of artifacts.”

The senator then pointed to what he described as America’s greatest weakness. “People always ask why we don’t have universal healthcare.”

“Yes,” replied reporters.

“It’s because we lack a competitive export sector.” Finch unveiled a second chart listing America’s largest criminal enterprises.

The chart included mortgage fraud, securities fraud, accounting fraud, banking fraud, insurance fraud, identity theft, predatory lending, telemarketing scams, and approximately three hundred additional categories.

Several reporters observed that America appeared to have no shortage of criminal activity.

“Correct,” Finch replied. “The problem is market reach.”
The senator then displayed a map showing the location of fraud victims.

The entire map was the United States.

“You see the issue?”
“No.”

“We’re scamming Americans.”

The room fell silent. Finch sighed. “You can’t build a welfare state by victimizing your own citizens. That’s just moving money from one pocket to another.”

“Then what’s the solution?” asked one reporter.

The senator then unveiled Wall Street Worldwide, a new initiative dedicated to bringing American financial innovation to underserved international markets.

According to promotional materials, the program’s goal is to ensure every household on Earth has access to at least one incomprehensible financial product by 2035, which will be leveraged 400 times.

When asked whether the initiative amounted to exporting financial fraud, Finch rejected the characterization.

“Absolutely not.”

“What would you call it?”

“Foreign aid.”

United States Government Gifts Homeless Population 1,000 Patriot Missiles

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In an unprecedented effort to address homelessness, the United States government announced Saturday that it has donated approximately $5 billion worth of Patriot missile systems directly to homeless Americans.

“This is the most efficient government program in American history,” officials explained. “People complain that we give billions of dollars to foreign countries. What they fail to understand is that we don’t give them money. We give them weapons worth that amount of money. Now politicians and the homeless get to eat.”

President Donald Trump hailed the program as a historic success.

“People said it couldn’t be done. The experts told me it was impossible. But I did it. I have effectively ended homelessness in America.”

Military distribution centers were rapidly established in major cities, where homeless individuals were issued Patriot missiles, radar equipment, launch platforms, and a pamphlet titled So You Own Surface-to-Air Defense Assets.

Reaction on the streets was overwhelmingly positive.

One anonymous homeless man in Chicago described the immediate financial impact.

“I was given a Patriot missile and immediately a representative from both Israel and Ukraine approached me asking if I’d be willing to part with it. God bless Donald Trump. I finally have enough money for a McDonald’s burger.”

Economic experts estimate the average homeless American’s net worth increased from approximately $50 to “somewhere between a small nation and a defense contractor.”

Several cities reported complications after newly-wealthy missile owners began negotiating weapons contracts outside shelters.

“We’re seeing aggressive bidding wars,” said one Pentagon official. “Yesterday an Iranian national acquired two Patriot missiles in an unauthorized private transaction.”

“I thought each person was only given one Patriot missile?” the reporter asked.

“He won the second one in a game of dice,” the Pentagon official explained. “Treasury officials estimate missile-backed gambling now represents nearly 14% of the homeless economy.”

Wall Street analysts praised the program, noting that homelessness technically drops to zero if every homeless person owns military hardware worth millions of dollars.

Critics questioned whether distributing advanced air-defense systems was the best use of taxpayer funds.

The administration dismissed those concerns.

“If you have a Patriot missile,” said a White House spokesperson, “you are no longer homeless. You’re a defense entrepreneur.”

At press time, Congress was reportedly considering a follow-up program that would issue aircraft carriers to Americans struggling with student loan debt.

Image creation glitch

I’m unsure why it drew this picture. I was chatting with ChatGPT about the 1.776 billion dollar fund and this was my prompt.

“Satirical idea. Trump rewards Benedict Arnold a Medal of Honor posthumously and his reserves part of the 1.776 billion dollar fund for his descendants.”

Typos included. Why would it generate an image? Is this something that happens to others? Spontaneous image generation?

I found my husband of 40 years liking photos of topless men. Am I crazy for wanting to leave?”

Just like the title said. Now before anyone attacks me, yes, they were technically wearing boxing gloves. But at a certain point, I just feel disrespected.”

It started with one shirtless heavyweight weigh-in, then suddenly my husband is following amateur Golden Gloves accounts and ‘reacting’ to pictures of men with 4% body fat posing next to Monster Energy fridges.”

He claims he just appreciates the athleticism, but I’m struggling to understand why appreciating athleticism requires commenting ‘absolute unit’ under a man named Diesel_McRib.”

I asked him if he would be comfortable with me liking pictures of women in sports bras and the craziest thing happened. He was ok with it.

Am I crazy for wanting to leave?

WASHINGTON — In a statement Tuesday, Donald Trump thanked the ongoing NFL controversy involving Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini for what he described as “perfect timing” amid escalating tensions with Iran, before pivoting to what he called a shared understanding of “how attention really works.”

“When something big is happening, you need people who just know how to take the spotlight,” Trump said. “Some people have it, some people don’t. I’ve always had it.”

Trump contrasted the situation with what he described as “less effective attempts” to redirect public attention, singling out Stephen Miller as an example of what he called “trying too hard.”

“Stephen means well, but he doesn’t have it,” Trump said. “You can’t force these things. People can tell when you’re trying to distract them. This? This is natural.”

Administration officials later confirmed that both Vrabel and Russini had been offered advisory roles, citing what one aide described as their “demonstrated ability to purposefully capture and sustain national attention during critical windows.”

“Russini, I’ll tell you, she really wants it. You can see it—other people would explain themselves, she doesn’t. That’s a big thing. That’s how stories keep going. A lot of people don’t have that, too much explanation, they drop it. She never closes it. Real go-getter. Very natural.”

“Vrabel, good guy, but he’s not really driving it.”

Russini was reportedly tapped for the newly created role of Special Journalist to the President, a position tasked with “identifying and blowing up stories with high public engagement potential,” while Vrabel was named Event Distraction Coordinator, responsible for “ensuring optimal timing and narrative alignment across emerging news cycles,” and has been assigned to Antarctica.

“We’re recognizing talent where it exists,” a senior official said. “They know how to use it.”

Officials confirmed the strategy was implemented immediately, with the administration prioritizing what one aide described as “high-performing personal narratives.”

Early results were evident as major networks shifted to wall-to-wall reporting on what several outlets described as a “rapidly developing personal story” involving Trump and Russini, even as international outlets confirmed multiple incidents in the Strait of Hormuz.

Internal guidance circulated to media partners reportedly advised maintaining focus on the story, citing “gross” and “how long does this go on for.”

“We’ll return to the Strait of Hormuz when appropriate,” one network official said. “Right now, this is what people are watching.”

CNN reached out for comment. Russini declined to elaborate on her role, responding only, “Why change what works?”
