My husband hurt his foot at work 5 days ago but didn't think it was anything. Woke up it was really swollen and walking hurt. It's been swollen and he's been icing/elevating. ​He saw a foot doctor today, got an x-ray and was diagnosed with Lisfranc, but non surgical. It is getting better, less swollen and hurts less but still hurts. He works on his feet all day intense labor. They didn't tell him to keep weight off or give him a boot or anything. We are also going on vacation literally tomorrow and will be on his feet. I keep reading a lot of non surgical stories where everyone is in a boot and staying off it.

My question is why wouldn't the doctor put him in a boot? Or tell him to stay off it. Maybe if it's not that bad then it's okay?

Looking for things that will help keep the kids occupied/comfy. Also items that you are so happy you brought or wish you had. All ideas are welcome please! Even snack ideas or container ideas. All road trip advice! Thanks!

Just bought a calendar 2 and I apparently didn't read the description well. I thought we'd be able to do more with it. For the price it's actually crazy that they expect us to pay a fee for even just photos. So for over $300 it's literally just a calendar? That's wild to me. Especially when I have an amazon alexa echo show that ive had for years and has so many features. Idk how amazon hasn't made it possible for an echo show to display a calendar the whole time. They would steal all the customers.

My MIL needs a new place to live. She keeps renting out rooms and living with other people but it never works out for her. She is on a fixed income and says she can't afford anywhere else besides a room. Is there a program or anything where she can live at a discounted rate at a specific place? Where do I go to find this out? I have no clue what I'm doing and she is a little hard to work with, but I want to help her. Thanks

At first we weren't going to even do one because I felt it was so cheesy, but i have my kids in the wedding and now we decided they would love it so we are doing it.

Im sure the answer is whatever I want, since that seems to be the answer to everything lol but what I can't decide on is if the song for them should be a song about love or just an entrance song.

I really want Paper Rings by Taylor swift for my (small) Bridal party but wondering if that's weird if it's a song about love. But it's so fun and up beat. It would be just for my MOH and BM and then My brother with my 2 girls. Oh and the parents...we introduce them too right??
