Getting out Vs staying in
Im starting to consider getting out of the Army. I’ve been in 7 years and I’m also married with one kid. My wife is a stay at home mom but she’s willing to go back to work if I get out. I’m just wondering how hard is it to transition. I’ve been in since I was 18 so I don’t know what the real world is like. The price of health insurance still blows my mind and rent where we would be moving to is around $2000 a month. I’ve looked into law enforcement but it seems like my paycheck would be about the same as it is now living on post which means I’d have to factor in rent/utilities/health insurance with the pay check I’m currently getting and that just seems impossible even with my wife working. Any advice is appreciated fk it maybe I’ll just stay trapped and do the 20.
