How to improve your game?

Hey, I played the game when it first came out, then abandoned it, and now I'm back.

I really enjoyed it; I'm playing at BR 2 for the USSR. And I realized I need more than just running around the field and getting kills. I decided to go to my profile and saw that I've played 190 matches, and my cd is... 0.55.

Do you have any tips on how to improve my game?

Why do my skates only find shitty players?

When I give them a scouting target for a specific position, the list of players they bring me is absolute crap. Not a single one of them can be used in the starting lineup. So I always have to manually search for players with a good rating in the position I need and send a scout specifically to that player. What am I doing wrong?

How to reduce the risk of injury during training?

Today I started a new save and ran into a really weird problem. I'd literally just started, and it was literally a couple of weeks between the start of the save and the first two weeks of friendly matches, when suddenly, three of my starting lineup players got injured in training, one after another. And they were all injured between six and eight weeks apart. Naturally, I thought maybe I had a bad training base, but no, it was quite good. Then I wondered if these players were prone to injuries. It wasn't in the report, so I decided to look at their stats in the editor and they all had this hidden attribute below 12. I don't understand anything—am I just "lucky" or am I missing something?

Absolute beginner

Hi, I recently started playing, learned the rules and combinations, and now I mostly play in free mobile apps, but I don't understand how to progress. I tried reading posts here and watching guides on YouTube, but they're full of confusing terms, and it's just not very clear. Where would you recommend I start learning the game, and what would your plan be going forward?

My thoughts on Aurora and 9impulse

(Prologue for those who like to rant in the comments: as written in the title, these are my personal thoughts and they will not necessarily be similar to yours, so there is no need to offend each other because of differences in opinion)

So, something very unusual and, in our opinion, a good thing happened in Apex: Aurora signed Kazakh as a player and 9impulse as a coach. People in the CIS community and beyond have roughly the same thoughts and approaches: some think it will fail, others think it's a dream team. As for the team roster, I personally believe that in its current state, Aurora is 100% the best team in Europe. Aurora has assembled the best CIS players at the moment on one team. Regarding Khiarka's kick, both 9impulse and Ozhrain have said that communication in Russian is a very important factor for them when choosing a team, and I'm still surprised Ozhrain played alongside Khiarka.

I also believe that the coaching position is exactly what 9impulse needs to finally win a LAN. I believe 9impulse's key problem as a player is his psychology. In regular ALGS matches, where the final is still far away, the quality of both his personal play and his calls is much higher than in important matches and finals. This is a fairly common problem in all sports, and unfortunately, if a player can't cope with it on their own, no psychologist can help. As a coach, you certainly feel nervous, but your main job is outside of the matchday, and 9impulse has a very good understanding of the game outside of stressful situations, so I believe coaching is exactly what he needs now.

I'd also like to address the position of 9impulse's haters on this matter. Firstly, the absolute majority of them are in the CIS community, and I only see two explanations (these are just my opinions, so don't be offended), which I'll provide later. Secondly, it's simply disgusting to watch them show their true colors. When he failed in individual matches on Bangalore or any other non-support roles, haters told him to play supports. Eventually, he couldn't take it anymore and started playing supports. They still hated him, saying he was "ruining his teammates' careers." The second, more reasonable group of haters said he would be great as a coach, and what do we hear from these people now? "Just not this clown, please." This is pure hypocrisy.

As for the two promised reasons for the hate, in my opinion. 1. This lynching is due to the dislike of crazy fans of this or that player, as was previously stated, that 9impulse "ruined the career of my favorite player." I've even seen OJRane fans write this, even though these players are very good friends in real life, but fans sometimes call them fanatics. Reason number 2... Racism and xenophobia. This may seem strange to people outside the CIS community, but there are a significant number of Russians who openly despise Belarusians as a nation. Some of them, at best, believe that Belarusians are younger brothers incapable of statehood without the support of their "big Russian brother," while others flatly claim that Belarusians are the wrong kind of Russians and that such a nation doesn't exist. And yes, most of them are either elderly or political radicals, but they do exist online, albeit not very often. I've seen and see them in comments, under posts and videos of Avroa, in Russian-language gameday reviews, and so on. For some reason, there are far more people with this position in Apex than, say, in Dota.

And don't get me wrong, I'm one of those people who believes that limiting athletes based on their ethnicity is wrong. I don't hate Russians or anything like that (only those two categories of racists listed above). I completely agree with Hardecki's creation of the Russian flag from the stats banners, and if I were a Russian pro player now, I would never ask to change my flag to a neutral one because of the war.

So, these were my thoughts, you may agree or disagree with them, but this is my opinion. Bye everyone.

Unfair distribution of achievements in the game (in my opinion)

I don't think anyone has brought this up yet (or at least I haven't seen it, so forgive me if I'm wrong).

What I mean is that in the vanilla game, there are a ton of interesting paths and formable countries, events, etc., but not all of them have extended time in the competitive part of the game—achievements.

You don't have to look far for examples. For example, there's an achievement for bringing an Austrian artist to power in Argentina, but why isn't there one for Austria, where you can also bring an amateur artist to power?

Two more examples, but these are for formable countries. Example 1: Greece has an achievement for forming Magna Graecia and Byzantium, but there's no achievement for forming the Empire of Alexander the Great. Why is that? It's even harder than forming the entire Byzantium. Example 2: Poland. If we follow the secret path of the false Romanovs, we can form a very complex and fascinating state—the Pan-Slavic Union. But why is there no achievement for this? There are, however, a ton of achievements for the war with Germany.

Moving on, as we can see from the example of Poland, a huge number of interesting paths also found no place in the achievements. For example, the incredibly crazy but interesting path of Hungary-Romania-Sweden, the Monarchist path in Portugal, and a bunch of other things.

And if you think this is a problem only for international countries, you're wrong. Example number 1: Germany. The country has an interesting communist path with unique folk-communist mechanics, and a decent democratic path. But achievements are only available for the Nazi and monarchist paths. Example number 2: Russia. Achievements are only developed for the communist and tsarist paths, and even then, not completely. There are no achievements for the Third Rome path and bringing the Patriarch to power. There are also no achievements for Radzaevsky's fascist path, which offers a rather unique roleplaying experience for Russia.

And in fact, the list of all these points could go on and on—there's a huge amount of interesting content. The developers decided to limit the achievements, and I consider this a problem.

Tips for the Youth Academy Challenge and Road to Glory

Hey, I've always enjoyed playing in the lower divisions, and it was clear to me that I'd try these challenges and subchallenges sooner or later. I'd like to ask people who've done these challenges for advice, and I have a question. Is it considered a violation of this challenge to make yourself un-fireable so you don't get fired during your first six months of playing?

It seems to me that AFLE is significantly losing out to the competition from EFA

I've been following American football for less than six months, more or less since the league split. And while I'm far from a professional, it seems to me that the AFLE is already losing out to the EFA in every way. Because all the matches are completely uninteresting and predictable, even a newbie like me realized that watching Vikings matches would be a very boring pastime. Also, reading this subreddit, I understand that they're already experiencing huge financial problems and a massive exodus of players to the EFA. This is especially true because they want to charge money for live streams of their matches. I think unless something extraordinary happens, the AFLE won't last another couple of seasons. (And I keep hearing that their owner isn't a very good person. Can someone please explain this to me?)

This server is doomed to fail.

No one but you ultra-radical leftists cares about this nonsense. When I came to you, you complained about the lack of conservatives, that it was unrealistic and boring. Then I and my party showed up, and I attracted more people to this garbage dump than anyone else. But what did I get? I didn't get an RP server with real politics, but a leftist eco-chamber. Where far-left extremism is justified under the guise of entertainment. And there's simply no room for conservatives here. You simply expected us to sit and entertain you, but we wanted to try to be full participants, which we were essentially denied. So, every bill we passed was doomed to failure. All 10 candidates in the parliament against me voted against them. If you thought we'd simply resign and be your playthings to "maintain reality," you were wrong.

And when we tried to get some fun the same way the Posadists did, we got nothing but death wishes and constant threats of bans. We're leaving, and you're stuck in your "incredibly realistic RP server."

The National Salvation Front is a new era in the life of the country.

Due to the ongoing political and economic crisis, the CUP considers its methods of struggle obsolete. We will declare a reformation! We are now the National Salvation Front! The communists and liberals who have taken over the government are doing everything possible to maintain their power by any means necessary. The CUP tried to defeat them on their own turf, we tried to hold referendums and push through laws, but it was all futile, as these pathetic degenerates will do anything to maintain their power and destroy us and their opposition forces. The latest laws passed by parliament leave us no other choice! We are becoming radicalized! Now we don't ask for, but demand, a winter!
The people of our great country: one leftist party and prime minister will replace another, but the economic, religious, and cultural situation is only rapidly deteriorating! These money-grubbers will do nothing to defend our homeland from its enemies, because they themselves are the main enemies of our homeland! Our party declares a crusade against Godless Communism, degenerate Liberalism, and Democracy! Only by establishing a strong government can we halt our country's economic decline, as well as its cultural and spiritual decline!
For God and Nation! Glory to our great people, your enemies will soon be defeated!

How many Americans watch American football in Europe and how can we appreciate its quality?

Hi, I'm a European from Eastern Europe and I started following American football just a couple of weeks ago when the EFA season started, and I just happened to come across one of their matches in YouTube recommendations. I noticed their channel quickly started gaining subscribers (when I started, it had about 3,000, now it's 14,000). I'd like to ask a few questions.

First, I understand that many Americans watch these leagues. If so, why? Second, I'm still very new to the sport, but I know it's highly developed in the US. How can anyone who knows anything about it compare Europe and the US? It's clear they'll be at completely different levels, but I just want to know how much.

P.S. I have a third question: Why is there such a huge gap in the level of teams in Europe? In the EFA, with all due respect, the Prague Lions look very weak, and in the second league, the name of which I haven’t yet learned, all the teams except the German and Austrian ones also seem to be losing by a huge margin.

A call to all who voted for CUP!

Friends! Despite fierce resistance from all sides on the left, our party won its first seat in parliament! This is a small victory, but it proves the great resilience of our voters! And here's where the fun begins! Our party was voted in by people who weren't registered with our party! Six people voted us first on the national list, even though we only had five candidates! In West RPS, voters voted our sole candidate, u/random76555, first three times! And in Metro RPS, we had two candidates, u/ImpressiveEnergy4762 and u/Nathanc2127, who between them won a WHOLE 7 first places!

This is a call to all people who voted for us but aren't yet members of our party! Please let me know by leaving a comment here or, if you prefer to remain anonymous, send me a private message; I won't reveal your name anywhere! We need you in the party! This way, we'll become a major party on our own, and the left won't be able to resist us! This way, we'll be able to coordinate our actions more effectively and win many more seats in the next elections!

We don't ask WHO you voted for—we only know the numbers. We invite those who KNOW they voted for us and now want to act together!

Christian Unionist Party election promises

Dear friends and fellow citizens! Today, as our country faces another election, we must accept one simple truth: the current constitution and government have failed to fulfill their obligations and have placed our country on the brink of ruin! Economic and political collapse is the result of their policies and actions! The current government even refused to provide our party with accurate information on the current state of the economy, calling it "outdated and incomplete," despite this action violating their own constitution, namely Article 124.

But we, the Christian Unionist Party, are here to overcome this chaos and help our country find a strong and bright future! We offer our voters a comprehensive package of reforms aimed at resolving both economic and political instability!

First, of course, is the abolition of Marina's idiotic autonomy. The idea that an entire region is trying to break away from the country solely because of ideology is simply absurd! Moreover, they hide behind communist idols, but let's face it, they're not even thick-headed communists, but ordinary greedy people who don't want to share their region's wealth with the rest of the country! Furthermore, they've imposed a 30% tariff on all other regions of our great country if they want to take advantage of Marina's wealth! Marina earns about 1.8 billion a year from this! I repeat, the richest region earns 1.8 billion a year, off the rights of other regions where the majority of the population is illiterate and lacks electricity and proper healthcare! These communists will force you to hand over enormous sums of money, and these regions could have invested this enormous sum in their social status!

Secondly, a ban on terrorist and extremist parties and groups. Because our Article 13 on freedom of speech is incomplete, dangerous terrorists—Possadists—have appeared in our country! They're calling for a nuclear war and praying for the alien communists to save them! At first, no one took these madmen seriously, but after a series of their actions, it became obvious to everyone – their intentions are real! To combat them and other extremists, we call for the Supreme Court to approve a list of terrorist and banned ideologies that can be expanded as new terrorists emerge!

Third, protecting the rights of believers. After our party announced Fidelity Month, our constitution revealed yet another flaw. Immediately after our congratulations, our party was bombarded with all sorts of insults and even threats based on our Christian identity! And it turns out our constitution can't protect us at all! We demand the introduction of a clause that will protect all believers and the values they believe in from attacks, insults, and threats from ultra-liberals!

Fourth, our current system of government is extremely undemocratic, and parliament is a kind of dictator that no one can disband! Regarding democratization, our party is presenting a whole range of reforms! First, we demand a stronger role for popular referendums! We propose the following draft law: "Citizens of the Union have the right to initiate a referendum on any matter of national importance, including the adoption, repeal, or amendment of laws (except for budget and tax laws in the current financial year), as well as on matters of confidence in the government. To initiate a referendum, it is necessary to collect the signatures of at least 5% of the qualified electorate of the Union. A referendum decision adopted by a simple majority has the force of law and cannot be overturned by Parliament except by a new referendum within a year." Secondly, we see people losing faith in some deputies, so we propose the following draft law: "Voters of a constituency from which a member of the National Assembly is elected may initiate a recall by collecting the signatures of 25% of the qualified voters of that constituency. If the recall is approved by a simple majority in a local referendum, the mandate is revoked, and by-elections are held." And thirdly, it is ESSENTIAL TO READ THIS BLOCK TO THE END regarding the introduction of the office of president! We remain true to the principle of parliamentarism and want to introduce the office of president, modeled on parliamentary republics like Germany or Austria. What does this mean? It means the president will have no executive power but will merely function as a "political arbiter," meaning they will have the following powers: "If members of parliament are unable to form a coalition and elect a prime minister, the president dissolves parliament and calls early elections," "If the government is defeated by a vote of no confidence, the president coordinates negotiations between parties to avoid anarchy," and "Approves the prime minister proposed by the National Assembly. He may reject the candidate only once (with a public justification), after which re-approval is mandatory." But at the same time, he will have NO EXECUTIVE POWER!

And fifth, finally write an official code of laws. Our constitution constantly refers to certain laws, and our party, as mentioned above, will promote the adoption of certain bills. Therefore, we believe that writing an officially accepted code of laws is necessary, and it's unfortunate that it still doesn't exist! Firstly, this puts citizens and members of parliament in a difficult position because they don't know what's legal and what's not, as they simply can't familiarize themselves with all the laws. Secondly, it calls into question the legitimacy of all Supreme Court actions, as it's unclear what they base their decisions on. So, if you support our democratic reforms or want to collaborate with us on these reforms, then join and vote for the Christian Unionist Party! FOR A STRONG AND PROSPEROUS COUNTRY!

The radical left dictator and his alliance refuse to honor the will of the people and hand over power!

Even after its dissolution, the former government continues to reveal its true colors! Despite the people's demand for parliament to be dissolved, the current dictator refuses to relinquish power and refuses to do so without force! Quote: "Although I am going to wait for you to forcibly dissolve it."

The Christian Unionist Party opposes any form of dictatorship, as Christian democracy is enshrined in our manifesto (https://www.reddit.com/r/redditparliamentsim/comments/1trvznn/the\_birth\_of\_the\_christian\_unionist\_party\_cup\_one/) as one of our party's founding principles!

New party on one of the largest political sim servers on all of Reddit!

Hey everyone. If you love deep geopolitical simulations, macro-politics, and are tired of one-sided left-wing echo chambers, we urgently need your help. There is a Reddit political simulator called Union of Reddit. Currently, 100% of the Parliament is controlled by radical leftists. Their economy is in a crisis, and their newest popular parties are literal doomsday cults writing fanfiction about "communist space aliens." It has become a circus.I have just founded the Christian Unionist Party (CUP). We are the ONLY organized right-wing opposition on the entire server. Our platform is strictly based on Anti-Communism, Christian Democracy, and strong Unitarian Nationalism (abolishing weak regional autonomies for a centralized state).General Elections are in 2 weeks. We are starting from scratch and we need real, serious right-wing politicians, debaters, and strategists to join our ranks, run for seats, and flip the Parliament. If you want to help us turn this place into a high-quality, realistic political simulation and show the leftists how a real free-market economy is run — join the CUP.Drop a comment or PM me directly for the Subreddit and Discord links!
