At what point does someone need some type of licensing agreement to use music in a surf movie? For example, on instagram or tiktok you can just pick whatever song you want for sort clips. But what about youtube videos?

Has Jack played a lot of live shows?
i know he doesn't anymore but back when he was active, did he do much for live shows? i can find videos of him preforming but it seems like to small crowds which makes me think he did it early on before he was so popular.
