Is this delay on my 2026 self propelled mower normal? My older 2024 mower of the same model doesn’t have it. Was there some update that added the delay?

First mower is the 2026. Has a 1 second delay when pulling the self propel function compared to my other mower that’s the exact same model just different build years. Even the self propelled motor sounds a bit different. Higher pitch.

Model RY40HPLM01. 40 volt 21 inch self propelled push mower.

And no this isn’t a big deal. I just want to make sure I didn’t get something that is defective before I miss the return window.

Sunflowers are full of these worms. I think they’re stem borers? What could I have done differently to avoid this?

Pretty devastated as I was so excited for these sunflowers. All of my sunflowers died. All 10 single stem pro cut sunflowers. This is my first year growing. I didn’t get a single bloom 🥲 I would guess I was about a week or two away from blooms before I noticed the bud (which was about 2 inches across) was shriveling up and had frass all around it. I popped one off to see what was going on and sure enough there were several of these worms inside of it.

Went down the line and they all had worms.

Minor complaint about the new UI update: I don’t like that the siren button triggers the siren immediately now upon pressing it.

On iPhone. Before you’d have to click two buttons. I used to fat finger it somewhat frequently when checking the cameras. I’m not trying to give my neighbor a heart attack when she’s just coming over to give me tomatoes.

I at least would like the option to have the two click siren.

50/50 fault accident in parking lot. Is it recommended I take payout or not in this situation.

Kansas

Me and another lady backed into each other in a parking lot. Lady started tripping out and saying it was our fault, threatening to sue, sending harassing texts, and just going batshit crazy. I decided to get ahead of it and just file an insurance claim myself before she could lie and make up her own story with my insurance info.

Insurance adjuster saw my dashcam footage and deemed it 50/50. My deductible is $500 and the damage is $1000. So a $500 check for the damage. Do I take the check or not? Is it better for my rates to not accep payment? Or is the damage already done by filing the claim and I might as well offset the rate increase with a $500 payment?

Is this gas water heater vent okay? Company that installed it says it’s perfect and city inspector didn’t ding it but a second plumber is arguing that it isn’t up to code and needs fixed.

AT&T Fiber Upload speeds less than 5 Mbps. Tech that was sent out worked on it for hours with zero resolution.

Like I said I’m getting on average 1 to 5 Mbps upload starting just a few days ago. Bgw320-500 gateway

Tech cleaned all of my cables and checked all of the cables outside. Checked the box outside. Active armor is off. Called someone and had them reprovision my account. The corporate number that he called says that they’re showing I’m getting 350 Mbps upload but when he tests it at my house it shows the gateway is getting less than 5.

He swapped the AT&T router with a new one which removed all of my devices and still the same slow upload speed. He did mention that 3 other people in my little town are having the same problem but he left my house letting me know that he has no idea what’s going on. His manager is also just as confused.

Speed test done on his phone, my phone (the AT&T app), Xbox, laptop, and many other devices. It’s so slow that it won’t even upload security camera footage to be viewed. Mix of wired and wireless.
