Why 50/50 speed/healing ratio?

Sometimes when I ask help or people ask help here about how to get better on Lucio or ask tips I sometimes see people say “ try to keep a 50/50 speed/healing ratio”… my question is why?? To me it makes no sense, I think is focusing your mind into something that isn’t really worth it. I don’t think having it 50/50 is that important, ngl i don’t even think about that aspect of stats, like yeah sometimes I look at it and say “haha I have more speed than heals” or the other way around but never say “omg I don’t have it 50/50 I’m doing so bad”, because I think it depends on the game, sometimes you need more heals sometimes you need more speed, but keeping it 50/50 just seems like focusing on something that might not get value. So if you think this way, why you do so?

Finished the concept + looking for ideas (?)

I finished rendering the concept a lot of people liked it, I’m glad (sorry I couldn’t take off the mask 😩) I fixed the skin problem I realized after posting it mb. I also did a summer swimsuit kinda concept but eh idk not sure about that one lmao. So I’m here to ask, does anyone have any Lucio skin concept ideas? I’m trying to burn some time and draw and ngl I’m feeling capable of doing one or two more concepts. Hope y’all like how it turned out I’m proud of it :)

Any tips on regaining confidence on playing Lucio?

This might sound like a weird post but I've recently felt like im not good enough with Lucio. This is mostly because I feel like recently i've been checking my stats to see my healing like a dumbass and also because for a reason I don't get, in diamond most of my games I get either a zen or mercy otps on my team or a support who the moment they see the games goes "bad" they switch to zen even if im lucio, which it can work but lets be real most tanks and dps in this rank still need a big amount of healing to do anything. And the thing is, I don't know why I feel this way, I think most of the time im doing my job, I have a positive winrate (not only on Lucio but on the main supports I play, the only one isnt positive is kiriko) and even my team coach says im not a bad lucio player. Maybe its just me letting dumb players opinions get to me, but I don't know how to stop, I always think game loses are mostly my fault. so if anyone has any tips on how to stop thinking this way or how to regain my confidence on lucio i would appreciate it :)

Do y’all like this concept for Lucio or is it a miss?

Ummm, I’ve seen a lot of people (aka 3 people) talk about skin concepts for Lucio… so I decided to do one. Took it as an opportunity to “copy” and learn from one of favorite artists, even thought their style of characters is much crazy and i could’ve went much crazier with the concept. I also used it as an opportunity to get out of my streetwear style of characters and finally explore something more uhh idk how to call it but you understand me. I just wanted to see if the community likes this type of skins or not and if I should just try something else. A while ago I saw a post of someone talking how they didn’t like mask skins for Lucio so I guess that’s a miss here. (BTW its not finished i need to render)

Future seasons mythics

For what I know only Genji's and Souj mythics are confirmed, right? Who do you hope for to get the next mythic? Or who do yall think will get it?

For me I wish it was a support like Lucio, Wuyang or Brig but im not sure they will get one atp XD. and in terms of who i think will get it, i hope its not another dps. If its not support i hope its a ram or zarya mythic.

(I just hope they actually get to Lucio jsjsjs)

Recommendations of players/vods to watch?

I’m doing trials for a 3k team as a main support, I mostly play Lucio and Wuyang and recently decided to also learn other heroes, specially Mizuki and Brig. I watched some guides and started playing them but I still feel I don’t have enough information on how to play them as a team. I’m pretty sure I’ll mostly be playing Lucio but having a more versatile hero pool would be nice. So after this wall of text, does anyone have any recommendations on good support main players to watch games? Or even a good YouTuber who breaks down vods? I’m specifically looking to watch this on my free time just to learn more. I really like learning, and would like to improve even if this isn’t the most serious team nor level. I’m also open to any tips regarding playing on a team or main support if anyone has some. Thanks for the help, and have a great day/night.

Why do Y'all play Lucio?

A quick question I've been wanting to ask, because im actually really curious about why people decided to play or stick with him. I think Lucio has so many posible reasons and wanted to know which one was for everyone (well not everyone but you get me).

I can begin (If anyone is interested XD), I actually started playing him when getting back to overwatch and decided he'd be a fun hero to learn and a friend told me he was fun so why not? (Probably not the best decision for a gold player who's previously in overwatch 1 was a HARDSTUCK bronze mercy OTP). But I think there's a BIG reason why I never stopped maining him since then its how versatile he is and how many playstyles he can have. Like each game has it's own thing and you can never get bored. One game you are playing a more safe poke gamestyle and the next you are on a Rein brawl speeding in a chaotic way, or maybe you are on a dive and just messing with everyone and killing their backlines all the time. And now I also realized how FUN is to get value of off him! Like yeah kiriko or ana just heal and whatever but with LUCIO?? Oh boy it's FUN. In one second you are Flanking with your dps and the next you are flying through the battle field and peeling for your ana and then you amp in with you tank and then push highground and contest like who else can do that??? I find him so cool in lore aswell, like he reminds me of Ekko in so many aspects of his lore its crazyyyyy.

Well that was my reason. I just want to see others people reason to why he's your main. It can be a wall of text or just a simple sentence, I'm just curious about what people find the most fun or interesting of him :D

R1 or Yae Miko?

I recently got Cyno, and I already have 2 teams for him (a quick bloom with Furina Lauma, And a Overload with Durin, Nicole and Chev), but I would like to try making him my stellar dps (since from the character reveals I only really liked Mitya and we still have no info about him. So, If I were to try going towards the more meta path for Cyno, should I try for his R1 or Yae? I have fractured halo (which is the weapon im using on him right now), my beidou is c5, diona is c3 and I have Nicole but no escoffier. Which one should I try for?

In what should I invest for Cyno?

Hi, next version I'll be officially a Cyno main since I'll be using every single primogem on his banner... so, If the chance of me winning my first 50/50 AND getting to another 5 star (I know im being too positive for this game) should I go for R1 (and end up with a C1R1 thanks to the event) or for another copy of Cyno? (and end up C1 but with fractured halo).

I'm asking because I've seen that R1 is pretty good for all of his teams and I don't have PJWS. This might also vary depending which team I use? I'm not sure since I can play him on overload with Durin Nicole and Fischl or Quickbloom with Lauma Furina. uhh idk im asking here because I don't know where else to ask and im not an expert on vertical investment neither.

Low rank Lucio

Maybe its just me but I just can't seem to get anything from my speed and I don't know if its a me problem or a team problem (probably a me problem).

most of the time I try to speed my tank in the chicken out for some reason or half the team doesn't follow. And when I manage to get the team in idk I just mess it up and we die... ummm thats a me problem who is trying to push the backline and sometimes my team doesn't follow.

The other day I played with a tank and I managed to get a lot from my speed, but the thing is that I don't trust my team enough to keep the speed more when pushing and switch to heal a lot. I know that's a me mistake but idk if I should trust my team more or just switch until I reach a rank with something like Wuyang or Kiri. A lot of people say to look for a duo but uh I can't seem to find one, nor in game nor in discord. Anyone knows if that worth it and how to find it easier?

Any tips are appreciated because I kinda forgot how to play Lucio sadly. I took a LONG break from overwatch and i'm trying to pick it up again and see if I can reach my peak again (m4) even though rn I feel more like a bronze player than a diamond player (current rank).

I'm also trying to improve my positioning and my decision making (like who I speed in certain situations, who I peel for, etc). So advice on that is also really needed here.

Is this good Kinich dmg for C0R0?

Hi, i've been building my Kinich team and I went from 42K to 81K but I feel like he should be doing more. I've seen people with my same team or similar do more dmg and I'm a bit lost.

Maybe its the artifacts anb builds? I know my Kinich is definetly NOT perfect or decent and that's something I gotta work on. Maybe its the fact that I have Durin on Noblesse and Emilie on Deepwood, I have no idea how much Reverie gives or how much dps I can get.

Here's my uid if anyone wants to check on Enka or Akasha: 735006971 (I don't wanna put the link because uh yk weird stuff happen with those and I cant put photos with this for some reason).

I was also theorising being the rotation? Idk im not that good with them so I have no idea whether this is a good o a bad rotation.

I'd appreciate the help since I'm finally actually getting to build properly my teams and characters and want as much advise I can get!!

Quick question about Cyno's weapon choices

Im planning to get Cyno next rerun (that surprisingly is next patch) and im here to ask: is Fractued Halo a good option for him?

Im planning on playing him on either a Nicole-Durin-Chev comp or a Lauma-Furina-and idk who team, and I don't have neither PJWS nor his sig nor Homa nor deathmatch sooo now my options are white tassel, blackcliff pole(not really) and fractured halo (my only 5star polearm). I don't have Ineffa and rn its on Xiao, who's dps aint that great. So what should I do? Take Xiao's fractured halo and give it to Cyno or level up White tassel? (btw im not pulling sandrone if anyone is wondering, i know the buffs are great but I can't afford it rn).

I haven't seen any info about Fractured halo for Cyno nor here, nor the megathread nor KQM, tha's why im asking here.

Any type of help is appreciated :)

New team comps and farming supports question

Hi, quick (not so quick) question about Kinich team comps.

I got Durin and Emilie and planning to try getting Nicole (not sure if ill be getting her since im low on pulls). So I wanted to make sure I was farming for the right thing, since my account is struggling already.

If I manage to get Nicole: would the team be Kinich-Durin-Nicole-Emilie, right? and the artifacts would be Durin: Noblesse/Nicole: New set/Emilie: Deepwood? or is Emilie still on the burning set and Durin on Deepwood? Also whats a good f2p weapon for Nicole ( I don't have skyward atlas and the event one is on my xianyun).

If I don't get Nicole who should be the fourth slot? Would it be Bennett with Noblese? or Fischl for the hexrei? or Iansan if i get her C2 (I don't have her yet)?

Appreciated if anyone answers and sorry for asking before Nicole releases I really want to stop wasting my materials since my account its already very very bad sadly.

quick question, how do yall survive awkward maps like blizzard world, circuit royale, havana, or for me new queen street??? Everytime I play those maps I feel like I go from being a decent Lucio player to the worst Lucio that anyone has ever been. We also gotta add that my wall ride has been ass lately since I took a long break from playing (why? because I get bored when playing alone and since none of my friends play I burned out a bit). So another quick question (sorry for the second one) how do yall manage to stay ALWAYS on the walls? Istg everytime im not on the walls I feel like im doing horribly wrong  😭  Well if anyone anwsers ty :)

Im working to get a better build and team for my Kinich and really wanted to ask this because, after 6.6, I won't be pulling on any banners unless its Zibai, Cyno or any other Natlan character I really want. So who should I pull for? Nicole or Mavuika?

i got a few points to make to help yall and not just throw the question in the air without any information about my account.

- I like both Nicole and Mavuika (maybe Mavuika a bit more since Natlan is my fav region. I also wasnt really thinking about pulling her but I thought it could be good for my account and its not a character i don't like gameplay wise of what I saw on leaks).

- I have both Durin and Emilie but no Iansan for now. I heard that Kinich-Durin-Nicole-Emilie/Bennet might be one of his best teams and I really enjoy Kinich and wanted to give him more love, thats why Mavuika was one of my prioties before since she could also buff my Mualani and be good in general.

- One of the biggest questions I got is if it's worth it to wait for a rerun of hers, try for Mavuika and then add her to my pulling list with Zibai and Cyno, since she's a new character she's more likely to rerun as soon as Snezhnaya.
