Slang/Alternate Way of Saying Numbers?

So I've seen from one piece that ゴム (Gomu) can mean 56, which I assume takes from 五(go) from five & the prefix of 六つ (mu) for six. Does this work for other combinations of numbers as well? I was looking to get a custom licence plate for my GR86 and am limited to only six characters so I thought something like "Yaroku" would work taking from 六 (roku) for six and the prefix of 八つ (yattsu). I know I'm essentially doing the same thing as gomu, but was wondering if its something that would be recognisable as being "86" or if it would just be jibberish if someone japanese did happen to read it. Thanks in advance.

Just joined the gang!!

Fell in love with this car instantly when I test drove it, thought it looked nice online but it looks so much better in person. Ended up getting a 2024 GR86 GTS in Magnetic Grey, such a cool little car.

Was looking to pull the trigger on a 2024 GR86 GTS, however I was wondering about new 2026 stock?

So I live in Australia and was looking to purchase a GR86 and I've found the exact one I want (Metallic Grey GTS if it matters). The only thing is, I know these cars hold their value relatively well but taking into account stamp duty & registration fees, this 2024 used one I'm looking at which has low Km's is basically the same price as a brand new one. And its not the only car, most of the used ones would be around the same price or in some cases more expensive than a brand new one as per toyota's website price. My question is, are toyota still regularly making 2026 GR86's, coz if so waiting for a new one might be more worth the price. Or if its the case where there is gonna be super limited stock then the used car being around the same price makes sense because of demand and also I really don't wanna wait potentially more than 6 months for the car I want.

So I've felt its probably about time I buy a first car, I'm 25, still live at home and am currently working full time. The thing is I'm kind of in the situation where I don't really need a car all that much, but it would be handy to have one, hence why its kinda been hard to justify buying one. I get public transport to work, and I'll just borrow one of my families 2 cars, once or twice a week for short trips to see friends or something. I was thinking I'd maybe be able to get away with not having one when I move out in the next few years, but the more I think about it, it would be such a pain in the ass to not have access to a car for spur of the moment things.

I've mainly been looking at hatchbacks as I probably prefer driving those the most, but ngl the options are soooo bland, only one I've seen that looks alright is the Toyota Corolla ZR, which is a bit sporty without going too expensive. I love older looking cars from the 90's and 00's but I'm not someone who'd be willing to spend the time on the maintenance side of things besides the basics. Any suggestions on cars to look out for would be great :)
