Update after 1 week: Gaming Embody

I'm 5'6, 120lbs F. I recently posted here about getting my Gaming Embody (see thread if you wish). Update after 1 week: The usual lower back pain I used to experience is entirely gone, the chair is amazingly comfortable except for 1 section: my sacrum. After sitting in the chair for at least 6 hours a day every day since getting it, each day I have been experiencing more and more prominent pressure around my tailbone/sacrum area.

Now a few things:

  1. The chair is properly adjusted to my back curve, like I said, it fits like a glove and virtually gets rid of all my previous issues.
  2. Tilt tension is adjusted so that if I wish to recline I kinda "float", but that seems to make the sacral area even more on fire, so I haven't really done it much.
  3. The pressure is alleviated somewhat if I don't push my glutes all the way back into the area where seat and backrest meet, but I feel that defeats the purpose of why I got this chair in the first place. I can also alleviate it by putting a blanket over the chair, but again.. I'd rather not perform all kinds of workarounds if it's not meant to be

Now... I have one more week to test the chair further but it seems it's getting worse day by day. I really want to make this chair work as it virtually solves every issue I had with my old chair. I feel as if I require more padding in the area (I'm 120lbs and quite boney in that area). For the record, I feel the sacrum area even when the back is at its flattest setting, so I don't think adjusting lumbar would help in any way at this point.

Is there anyone who had the same issue? Did you send the chair back or make it work? Any advice is much appreciated! My old chair was very cushy in that particular area, so I'm wondering if it's just something you must get used to?

Thanks in advance! :)

Took advantage of the sale

After a UK user posted a 5% code that stacked with the 25% sale (god bless you btw) I couldn’t help myself and pulled the trigger. Arrived in just 3 working days, and so far it’s certainly been a huge upgrade over my old chair.

This isn’t intended to be a review of any kind, but it perhaps might help fellow ladies or the short kings, or people with similar issues

Now, I’m a 5’6 (~122lbs) female with lower back problems (recovering anterior pelvic tilt addict 😆) and while a chair can hardly be expected to be a magic cure, I was able to sit comfortably for about 6 hours the first day, then 10 hours the next, with some lower back discomfort creeping in after that point. This was all with the “curviest” back setting, so currently trying to dial it a bit flatter. Maybe someone in a similar boat has some tips regarding this?

Love the seat, can pull it out and sit cross legged. Comfy but not annoyingly plush.

Definitely miss the headrest when reclined; but not at all when upright and armrests kinda suck (I like to sit very close to my desk)

I would be curious and very appreciative to hear from anyone in a similar situation! Any tips or things I should know?

Monitor scratch? Something popped? Pls Help

Hi!

I woke up today and turnt my pc on. At first I thought this was just one of those debris and tried wiping it off but nothing happened. My monitor is aoc q27g3xmn and it's about a year old.

Can anyone help me with this? Is this a scratch or is this something stuck inside of the panel? It wasn't there when I went to sleep last night and I do not have any pets

It's most visible on a white background where it almost look like a dead pixel, whereas on darker backgrounds/when turned off it looks more like a small chip/scratch? On touch it also feels uneven.

Please help, is this something that would be covered by warranty? I'm extremely sensitive to things like these and my eye keeps darting towards it permanently.

Dual Monitor Arm or Singles?

Hi!

I have recently purchased the magnus pro and looking to buy monitor arms now and have a question I couldn't really find a proper answer for:

So I like to tilt my side monitors in quite a lot, and all the footage I could find with people using the dual monitor arm was just side by side monitors, with very little tilt (if any at all).

Is there anyone using the dual monitor arm that likes to have their secondaries tilted in like this? It's about 45 degrees.

Wondering whether I should go for 1 dual monitor arm + 1 single or 3 singles.

I do not need flexibility, as I never move the monitors from this position

Thanks
