im new to monday, but am i crazy in thinking this is extremely complicated?

I'm getting really frustrated with monday and how complex it is to get a simple automated schedule to appear.

I want to create a video content creation project/board with each task being one video. Each task would have the same subtasks each time: film, cut, graded, music, exported etc. etc. That I've done, I've created the workflow that automatically makes the subtasks appear for every new task.

And the next thing I wanted which I figured would be simple was if I set a date for the first subtask, it would fill in the rest of the due dates for the remainder of the tasks and then I could view it on a gantt chart to see what tasks were being completed. But I've been on it for hours trying automations and workflows and nothing seems to let me do it and I'm really surprised at how complicated it is to do what i'm thinking is a simple request.

Can anyone help? Or is monday restricted?

The theme of the party is the brides name… “Eve”. Ideas for costumes/characters?

The theme of the party is the brides name… “Eve”. Ideas for costumes/characters?

My friend is having a hen party and the theme is her name “Eve” and everyone’s dressing up as some version of the name “Eve”. It can be a homophone, or an extended word. The more creative, the better. Funny and weird is also acceptable!

So far, this is the current list:
Eve (first woman in bible)
Eve (rapper)
Eve polastri (from killing eve)
E.V.E (robot from walle)
Christmas Eve
New Year’s Eve
All hallows Eve (Halloween)
Eve-Ning Wear (black tie)
Eve Saint Laurent (fake fashion designer)
Eve-il Knievel (stuntwoman)
Eve-olution (cavewoman)
Steve
Eve-dropper
B-Eve-r (a beaver)

UX/UI career beginning - how does one get into this career? Is it impossible without a degree?

I've realised that in all my previous job roles, normally being some sort of office/sales assistant, that I naturally gravitate towards improving the processes they have in place, but also making it look visually appealing and as functional as possible. Through a few chatgpt conversations, it pointed me in the direction of UX/UI and product design. After more research, I'm seeing job role listings and responsibilities that I really resonate with, even if I'm not experienced enough.

I love making things accessible and pretty. Like I'll get really into making an excel sheet feel easy to use but looks more like an app or website than regular themes in excel. I love it when animation makes things look user friendly and more professional and modern. I'd love to learn more about that stuff and I think it mixes with UI/UX and product delivery. I'm always curious about it and everytime I've had one of these chats, I get steered that way into UI/UX.

I thought i'd make a portfolio to start with, here's a link if you're interested: https://lisaspencerportfolio.framer.website/ . There's nothing super impressive on it, but it shows off some of the projects I've done at previous roles to help my teams.

I'd love to go into that type of work, but everywhere I go to look at starting from an entry/junior role or even a bridge role into digital product, it looks as though you need a degree or some form of education in it. Is this true? Do I need to be getting all forms of education and learn all the tools inside out to even get an entry/junior role?

It's just one of those fun moments of not being a newbie worker who has no financial responsibilities. I have like 12+ years professional experience, but wanting to switch careers and not being able to afford to go to the minimum wage, doesn't seem possible. But even the minimum wage starting roles all look like you need to be a recent graduate.

Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places. Any advice would be so helpful!

Can't get custom url to work

Any help would be appreciated! I have made my first framer site and I published. I have the random weird words Base URL that framer sets you up with automatically. I changed the custom one to my name. Everything says its all fine, status: ready, and version is latest. But the custom domain doesn't work but the base url does work. Am I doing something wrong?

Weirdly, it works on my iphone on safari and chrome. But it does not work on my ipad on safari or chrome, and then it doesn't work on chrome on a windows laptop, or safari on a macbook.

On my iphone I am connected to my wifi, so its not a wifi issue.

I have cleared cache for all time (I only just published today).

Any help?

I'm a new account but not doing very well on growing my channel, any advice? [Discussion]

Hi all!

I'm started my asmr channel a couple months back and have been consistent with getting 2 videos out a week, but i'm not seeing a good growth on my channel. Maybe i'm being too picky and its supposed to be lower in your first months. But i'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong.

My channel is https://www.youtube.com/@hayleighsasmr - hayleigh's asmr

Let me know, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
