Meal delivery recs - South Australia?

Hiya

I'm balancing a tricky job with a long commute and recently back to work after parental leave. I'm wanting to make my life a little easier.

I tried Iku but wasn't the biggest fan of half the dishes I tried, we got 12 meals between me and hubby, and we both dislike mushrooms.

Are there any others out there that are vegan/vegan friendly options with decent sizes (looking at you soulara, I need like twice the serving to feel satisfied)

Thanks heaps

Making space for pumping at difficult job

Hi everyone,

My job is great they've got me a lovely armchair in a comfortable and lockable room. They don't monitor my time and I can do what I need when I need.

The trouble is it's a fast paced role in disability work at the head office, there's so many critical things all the time. I'm having trouble finding time to pump/setting a regular schedule. Just today it's an hour later than I wanted because I just couldn't get to it.

How have people managed in similar roles?

Thank you

Leaking from wall

Hi everyone. We've found water on floor in the toilet few times the last few weeks. And I have realised it's coming from under the ring against the wall.... This is a plumber job isnt it 😵

Is there anything I could check before I make the call?

Could it be condensation? As we do have moisture on the windows in this house. I've got it locked up tight to reduce drafts but means I have to air it out most days for the humidity.

Childcare putting arms in sleeping bag

Hi everyone,

My 11.5mo is in childcare and we've had no issues after a few weeks of being in two days a week getting ready for my return to work at 12mo.

My husband picked up our baby from childcare yesterday and she was still asleep when he got there. He said they got her from the cot in the sleeping room and it looked like her arms were inside her sleeping bag. She has a white sleeveless sleeping bag for childcare naps and was wearing hot pink top so it's pretty obvious if her arms were in or out I think.

I'm laying here awake knowing she's due to go in again tomorrow (Friday) and I'm scared they were sleeping her with arms in. Which is a huge SIDS risk

It was my first day of work yesterday before I start back in June. So I won't be at work tomorrow

What do I do? There's a chance he didn't see it clearly but that he thought he saw it at all is enough to worry me

Not sure how I'll manage at work

I'm going back to work soon with baby 1 yo. Sleep has been ...not great lately. I'm very tired which is manageable while still on mat leave. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to function at work. I can barely remember things now let alone my job responsibilities.

How do you manage? I'm in a senior-ish role with quite complex and risk management decisions most days. How do I do this? Nervous

ETA we are already on shared nights, hubby takes 10-2 & I'm 2-6 but with BFing I'm awake all the wakes anyway I just don't get out of bed

Morning all (6am in Australia).

My 11mo is on sleep schedule for naps and bed time. But wakes about hourly from 2am. Falls asleep within minutes of a cuddle and boob. I'm going crazy. It's been weeks and weeks of this. A few recent illnesses so don't want to limit milk overnight, husband and I planning to night wean once she hits 12mo to see if it helps.

Schedule: wake 530 first nap 9am, second nap 2, bedtime 7.30.

Naps usually 45-90mins, one usually short and one longer, usually no more than 2 to 2.5 hours total naps.

The early wake is a pain but I wouldn't care if she just slept overnight

She's dressed warmer than tog guide so not sure if she's still cool, definitely not too hot upon checking
