Electric apprentice

Hi everyone,

I currently have my electrician apprentice license and I’m looking for work with a licensed electrician or contractor who is hiring apprentices.

I’m motivated, reliable, and eager to learn and gain more hands-on experience in the field. I’m open to residential, commercial, or service work and willing to start as soon as possible.

If anyone is a contractor or knows someone who is hiring apprentices, I’d really appreciate you reaching out or pointing me in the right direction.

Thank you!

Do surges actually mean influx in rides?

It’s almost 4am and I just dropped off in this area and a surge popped up but not a single ride so I’m wondering if these surges actually mean there’s rides being ordered or if it’s just random

My brother in law told me to get my electrician apprenticeship license so I can apply where he works at. Got my temp license and intend to apply soon but haven’t had much chance to speak with him since he’s working rn and doesn’t have service but I basically have zero knowledge on anything about electrician work or anything related.

If anyone could give me some pointers, tips, sites to check out, anything that could help me learn some of the basic knowledge I’ll need to know going into a job.

I’m sure it’s been asked before but reading some of the other posts I was kind of lost with any of the terminology used. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I’m born and raised here in Austin, TX and I’m currently looking for job opportunities in the area. I figured I’d post here in case anyone knows of anything or has leads.

I’ve got several years of customer service experience including working as a lead in the seafood department at H-E-B. I also have some technical experience and pick up new systems and tools quickly. Right now I’m doing Uber rideshare but I’m trying to find something more stable and long term.

I don’t have a degree but I’ve built my experience through work and I’m willing to learn and put in the effort wherever I land.

I’ve been applying for jobs over the past few months and have landed a few interviews, but nothing has moved forward so far.

I’m open to a wide range of roles including customer service, hands on work, entry level skilled jobs or anything I can grow in.

If anyone knows of openings or can point me in the right direction I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for reading.

Sometimes when I pick people up, I’ll be at the location but the timer won’t start. Doesn’t anybody know any fixes for this? Or the cause?
