I for one, as someone who’s Gen Z loves it because it’s putting a new generation on to classics from back in the day, and I’m not gonna lie hearing Distant lover get popular paired with that one video of that guy with text that read imagine going through it with your lady in the 70’s and artists are dropping bangers like this tickled me I’m ngl. I also see Intimate Friends gaining traction to in edits, I love to see it especially since it’s one of my other favorite songs, too :)!

I know people have talked about this wave of sadness when they think about Michael or how they cry or can’t listen to certain songs when it’s too hard, and I get where they’re coming from especially if you grew up listening to him or just now learning about him from the movie. But, I hadn’t experienced that until today 😭, I was just up thinking “Man, I miss him,” and uh, couldn’t really go back to sleep after that, tbh. Has anyone else experienced something similar like people talking about the wave of sadness for Michael but not feeling the same way till it happens to you?

I love this song sm, I love the production & Kendrick’s verse, the way it’s structured down to it transitioning into another song going from very light and airy to dark and mysterious. Jhene sounds great as always, wanted to share my appreciation for this song here and wondering if anybody feels the same as me when it comes to this song 😮‍💨, cause I don’t play about her!
