What area of Kyoto has good concentration of air conditioned time killing spots(malls, museums, etc?)
Hotel near such a place to kill time between my early morning and evening excursions.

I’m from Canada and it is probably my last night in Tokyo, just hoping to have a blast before going to Kyoto / Osaka
Just maybe looking to make some friends in Japan or hang out. I plan to attend liturgy on August 16th at Nikolaido, and maybe at the Orthodox church in Osaka before I leave.
As for my other plans in Japan I only have a a couple ball games booked and , Japanese wrestling that Sunday night in Tokyo.
Any idea its value?
It’s not available on the Tigers official site or on E tickets. Also, I live outside of Japan and I’m coming in August.
Any good trustworthy sites to get tickets to Tokyo dome Tigers Giants games? Or are there scalpers? Should I just show up and look sad out side? (I kid)
Also the tigers games at Kyocera during the High school tournament aren’t an option to buywhen I navigate on the tigers official page . Not sure where to look.
Have one game booked so far at Jingu, got a cheap one around 1st base side just to adjust, will be my first game. Not sure if I should do right fireld after that , for as a big guy (6over 6 feet, 220 pounds I should find a more comfortable spot?)
Side note pretty excited for my trip, wither one game booked so far and going to see NJPW g1 climax finale.
I’m doing 5 overnights in Tokyo, then hitting Kyoto for 3 nights then gotta figure out what I’m doing after that departing from Osaka.
I thought Ueno would be good because I really want to see the museums and zoo, but I also plan catching 2 or 3 swallows games, (and tigers vs giants if i can get second hand) and I’m doing NJPW at Ryogoku on my last night in Tokyo.
Not sure what is best as a first time overseas traveler anxious about making sure I’m at a good home base (easy to navigated)while in Tokyo.
So considering going to Japan for some games at different stadiums to catch some baseball along side some checking out cultures around different cities I go to. I think Tokyo, and Osaka will be 100% places I want to go. Curious about other good stadiums to catch with some cool spots that aren’t too tourist heavy?
Besides maybe Hokkaido area(?) any other places to beat the humidity near some ball parks?
I’m hoping to catch the last 3 Tigers vs Giants games in August in Osaka.
Appreciate any help or anything. This will be my first overseas trip from Canada.
Hello I’m going to Georgia in August I hope. I’m wondering if anyone has advice for things to avoid like in terms of things that took a lot of time to do like far out sites that require a lot of driving that wouldn’t hurt to miss. I’m hoping to do pilgrimage around Tbilisi and surrounding holy spots but I also want to get to svaneti.
Also if anyone knows a good guide in Svaneti or maybe recommends the north eastbound of Svaneti would appreciate some insight or advice.
I will be in Georgia for 12 days more or less.
Thanks
Was going to do a 7 day pilgrimage but might cut that to 4-5 days and explore Georgia on my own.
In your opinion what are can’t miss sites or experiences and what are some maybe overrated tourist places?
Also where should I eat in Tbilisi?
Are either Vardzia and Upliftsikhe ok to skip or of the two what is can’t miss?
Would appreciate any other hacks or off the beaten path site son Tbilisi or other areas. Was hoping to get to Gergetti but long day. Will see.
Thanks!
