Original Oil or Hand Embellished Glicee

Edit: It seems like the general consensus is that it is printed and painted over. I'm not sure if this is part of the artist's process, or maybe if the original was mixed up with the hand embellishment. I want to reach out to the artist. What's the best way to do it with giving them the benefit of the doubt? How would you word it?

I bought a work of art and the artist said it was an original oil. I paid him half and then he delivered it to my house the next day where I paid him the other half. When I saw it at the art festival, it looked real, but now I'm taking it out now that we're ready to put it up and I'm not sure if it's original or an embellished print. The artist talked about how he's done hand embellished giclee and that he sells him cheaper, but I loved the piece and decided to invest in the original. The artist has a good reputation, but this is my first time buying an artwork. I'm worried if maybe there was a mixup.

I got a microscope to help see if it was printed or not. Can anyone help to know if this is printed with some paint on top? I want to be sure before I reach out to the artist.

I don't want to reveal the name lest I ruin their reputation for no reason.

No Vacuum Works On This Rug

I got this rug from Amazon and no vacuum works on it. I've tried multiple attachments on my Dyson, I tried a cross wave.

With the Dyson regular attachment, it spins but no dirt is picked up. With the vacuum attachment, it will only spin as I push really really hard to move the vacuum forward and backward. I did that with the whole vacuum, but still no dirt is picked up.

I tried it with my cross wave which both vacuums and washes the rug, with just the vacuum on. The roller will spin slowly but then shut down after a few seconds. Again, no dirt picked up.

I know it's gotta be dirty because it's the one rug in the house that keeps making my husband sneeze. Plus, logically rugs get dirty and it's been months.

I know in the product descriptions it says it's washable, but we don't have a large enough washer, plus it's a lot to get it out of and back under all the furniture.

Is there a way to clean this rug?

Help With Cleaning Rug Please

Hi everyone! I have a low pile 8x10 rug that I'm trying to clean. I have the Dyson V12 and it won't clean one of my rugs. The carpet attachment gets stuck and won't spin, and the regular floor attachment won't pick up the dust and dirt in it. Any ideas for how to fix the problem?

Has anyone ever switched from tax to Audit later in their career? My husband is now a senior manager in tax and we just are having so much trouble with being in busy season the rest of our lives. We're having trouble finding private work at his level, but I am considering if switching to audit may be a good investment so that we could actually transfer to private. The trouble though is that we need enough to support our little ones and my husband is also worried that if he makes a move and starts over we wouldn't make much and he would lose his 30s just like we lost our 20s in tax busy seasons and miss the kids lives when they are little. Right now he could make a ton of money in tax and he is in high demand in public accounting, but really we just want time.
