Playing this game in Australia has always been miserable, but it has never been worse than it is now.

Recently they introduced a 200ms ping limit for the servers. If your ping is above 200 then you cannot select that region. If you are on a server and your ping goes above 200 then you repeatedly get the disconnected due to bad connection screen which removes you from the match temporarily every 30 seconds.

Prior to this, I used to play on the China and Japan servers as the Aus server never had anyone playing on it. I don't know what they did, but previously Japan was 130 ping and not too bad but now they are 220 ping so i cant play on those servers anymore.

So now I am forced to either sit and wait for 40 minutes to maybe get a match on an aus server, or endure the constant match disconnects during firefights in checkpoint or BG. Both of these issues were not present during season 2.

I just want to specify, the ONLY servers that are not constantly above 200 ping are Aus, CN and NA. I cant even pick any of the other servers because the game wont let me now. CN and NA presents a minimum ping of 180ms if I'm lucky, if not then I get disconnected over and over again.

ZF6HP21 rebuild or no?

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a used car back in April that had 188,900 kms on it. Afterwards, I had a recurring rumbling noise that was very hard to diagnose and pin down.

After some more time with it, I was finally able to diagnose it as the transmission. (Rumbling would be accompanied by RPM needle fluctuating wildly, and sometimes the car would lurch while trying to shift up under the right conditions).

Given this, I just took it in for a service at just over 190,000 kms. The mechanic told me that the fluid was very dirty and the transmission still had the original seals and filter on it from the manufacturer 10 years ago. I just drove it for the first time post fluid change and the car shifts way smoother now, but the rumbling issue is still present.

What I want to know: Should I take it to a transmission specialist to look into repairs or rebuild? Is it likely to be worn bridges/seals inside, or worn components? Or will the issue resolve itself once the transmission has time to circulate the new fluid and adapt again?

Can we take a moment to acknowledge this shocking parking job by Brian?

If you parked like this in Australia you would find your tires slashed when you get back.

Is this the transmission or diff?

2015 Ford Territory, Petrol.

This noise has been driving me crazy because my mechanic has told me that he doesn't believe that its the diff or transmission, but I keep getting hung up on the what if's.

The video is multiple occurences in one drive edited down to try and isolate the noise I'm talking about. Camera is positioned behind the passenger seat, in rear footwell.

Is it worth having this fixed professionally?

I've had this car for a few months now, bought it from a dealer back in April. The touch up paint is their work. Obviously there are some concerning spots, and also a broken piece of plastic trim I only noticed recently in the last photo. I am concerned about rust developing or getting worse if ignored.

Honest opinion on my plan for car washing

Because it's so hard to find decent information that fits your specific case, as everyone washes their car their own way and has their own opinions on how to do things, I want to see what people here think of my plan.

So I bought a used car a few months ago, black SUV. The paint already has some minor damage on it from the previous owner which is fine, I am only interested in maintaining the clear coat.

So my plan step by step is:

- Drive to car wash

- Use self serve to spray car with water to begin cleaning

- Move to soap option, spray with soap

- Rinse again

- Use rinseless wash or similar product that I bring with me and a wash mitt to clean each panel

- Finish with my own ceramic spray/wax and microfibre to dry

Thoughts?

Undiagnosed rumble strip sound in 2015 Ford Territory Barra is driving me INSANE!

Not because its consistent or annoying but because I worry its something serious and I need to figure it out before it costs me thousands.

I recently bought this car from a dealer back in April. Pretty much all the suspension components were replaced and diff was either repaired or replaced for roadworthy.

Since buying I have noticed a short but very noticeable rumbling that seems to happen most between 35 and 38 km/h, particularly with light acceleration and approaching 40k's. The sounds only lasts a second, maybe two sometimes. It does NOT happen every time and is actually very hard to get it to present and make that noise again. It sounds to me like its coming from the rear as it seems to make the cargo barrier vibrate, but I dont feel anything myself.

I can't ignore it, because the though of it being a serious issue that will cost me a lot of money later keeps eating away at me.

What I have done so far:

- Post purchase inspection with my mechanic. He said all suspension and fluids were OK. Found no issued with any roadworthy items.

- Upon presentation of noise, took it back to same mechanic who inspected it closely for two days, found zero issues with any drivetrain and underbody components. Says he doesnt think it is the diff, as it would be more noticeable, and he says he doesnt think it is the transmission as it operates smoothly.

- I took it to get wheel alignment and balancing. A bunch of issues were found and rectified, but the noise still persists. They did not mention any issues with wheels hubs or bearings.

At this stage I think it could be torque converter shudder, or maybe incorrectly torqued bushings. Theres a possibility its still the diff but to properly inspect that requires removal from the car.

If anyone is smart or knowledgable on this I would appreciate your insight.

I have attached a video of said noise. It is heard around the 3-4 second mark. The road in this vid is flat and recently paved so that noise is purely the car. Sorry about the seat I am working on that too.

Is this tooth decay or just buildup?

My dog is a 4yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Since I got her ive had it pretty rough in terms of employment but I did what I could. Unfortunately I have neglected her teeth.

I always give her a large dental chew once a week, but today I noticed her breath was bad. I checked her teeth and saw this. Really hope I haven't ruined her teeth, Is it just bad buildup?

She is already booked in at the vet for an exam and cleaning from there. I haven't noticed any tooth or mouth discomfort. Other than dogs not liking you touching their face, it doesnt seem to cause her pain as far as I can tell.

Her back teeth are hard to see but they look pretty bad too, maybe worse.

A little bit of backstory. I've been driving around an SUV from 2008 for the last 5 or so years. It was my mum's car, and after she upgraded, the SUV was parked on the street (small driveway). It faces northwest when parked, and we get a really strong sun across the whole northwest during the hottest parts of the day in summer. This car has gone from looking fine in 2021 to no clearcoat and paint peeling from the front and roof in 2026.

Admittedly, it was never washed regularly.

Now I recently bought a more modern version of the same car for myself. It's still 10 years old and already has some scratches on the paint. I'm not super fussed about the car looking perfect and pristine, but I do want to keep the paint and clearcoat from ending up like the old car.

So what i want to know, TLDR, if I dont care about my car being in perfect condition (because it already wasn't) can I maintain the paint and clearcoat through a combination of washing with pressure hoses and soap at a carwash (no sponges or contact to the car) every 3 to 4 weeks, and parking facing away from the sun?

Or should I look into getting at least a little more involved?

Also, was looking at ceramic coats too, but the car is worth less than $10k so I'm debating if it would be worth it. But if it makes it easier to protect the paint from UV and wash it, maybe it might be worth.

So I recently bought a used car. While I was poking around and checking it out post purchase, I noticed the driver side headlight was slightly loose. Took it to my mechanic and he pointed out that the main plastic bracket that secures it was actually broken. (I somehow didn't notice this myself)

He said to put some sort of glue on it, he named a specific brand, I think it was arc something. Maybe something like arctight but not sure. Anyone know? Or if not, anyone able to recommend a good brand to use?
