Bring a Trailer saying comments supersede vehicle description????
What are your thoughts on Bring a Trailer saying comments supersede the vehicle description. Example, description says the vehicle has working AC, no fluid leaks and 2 working doors. After your bid, someone ask the question how cold is the AC, oil pressure and doors? Seller states no AC, oil leaks with no pressure and 1 door is missing. You win the bid and Bring a Trailer said you are still responsible to move forward? This cant be legal?
Update: Seller recognizes that the comments are not official and is willing to work with me to resolve the issues. BAT just wants the sale so they can make their money. They said comments only matter when the bid was issued? Which makes no sense and will never hold up. I spoke to AMEX and they already refunded the charge.
