Gym trainer says I need whey + omega 3 (₹7500💀) and 250g protein/day or my body will suffer , is this legit?

I’m a 21 year old male, 6 ft , 100 kg. I joined a local gym around 2 weeks ago because I want to lose fat and build muscle at the same time.

My trainer told me I should consume 250 grams of protein every day. He also said that if I don’t take whey protein, I won’t be able to hit protein requirements from normal food alone. He recommended buying whey protein + omega 3 supplements, which would cost around ₹7500. I fucking broke 😭

He also told me that if I don’t take whey protein, my bone marrow could become weak .

Right now my diet is:

Breakfast: 3 egg whites + 2 chapati Lunch: some vegetables (thoran), 2–3 egg whites + 2 chapati Dinner: 200–250g boiled chicken Snacks: mostly none, sometimes sugarless coffee and 2 digestive biscuits

My gym fee is ₹850 per month, and I’m a beginner with only 2 weeks of training.

So,

Is 250g protein necessary for someone like me? Is whey protein actually required, or can I hit protein targets with regular food? Is the “bone marrow gets weak without whey protein” claim true or sum shit ? Does this sound like genuine advice or supplement selling ?

I just want to know.
