Healthcare Administrative work

Is there anyone actually hiring in healthcare for administrative work? I feel like I have submitted a million applications daily and I have the experience. I had to move to San Diego and it feels like opportunities are nonexistent despite the job postings.

People

I just have to say this. Dealing with chronic illness, people that can't handle negative things bug me so much. It is one of the reasons we mask our symptoms because people can't handle it. ugh

Are there any current or former UCSD or UCSF med students that would be willing to give me advice about these specific schools?

Does anyone know of any private practices who are hiring for medical assistants or other care assistance without certification? Basically helping the staff in back office without any duties needed that would require a full certifications. I am looking to get more patient care experience but, do not have the funds to pay for a full certifications and the time it takes to get the certification without work.

How is volunteer experience submitted on the application? Is it a form you fill out or apart of the personal statement? Do they require documentation or call the organization?

As a non-traditional application, I’m planning 2 years in advance for my application. I have been volunteering since I was 18 but I do not have official documentation. We are talking some volunteering starting over a decade ago. I did it purely because I wanted to help. It was valuable experience like hospital volunteering, international trip, soup kitchens, cancer organizations, autoimmune disease organizations. I have photos but not a slip or anything because I didn’t do it for any school applications. I still plan to volunteer more but still, I want it to be noted that I have been volunteer throughout my adulthood.
