Curious what people are hoping VW does with the 2027 Atlas.

Feels like the Atlas already nails the space/practicality side of things, so I’m interested to see if VW leans more into tech, styling, hybrid options, or performance next.

What would you want to see changed or improved?

Reviewing the Atlas Cross Sport maintenance

Looking into the Atlas Cross Sport maintenance schedule. It’s fairly straightforward, but here’s what it typically looks like over time:

Every ~10k miles: oil change, tire rotation, basic inspection

20k–30k miles: cabin/engine air filters, brake inspection

40k–60k miles: brake fluid service, spark plugs (depending on engine), deeper system checks

Long term: transmission service, coolant, and larger wear items depending on driving habits

Nothing too out of the ordinary, but staying consistent seems to be the key to keeping it running smoothly.

For current owners, does this line up with your experience? Anything unexpected come up?

What’s next for VW’s ID lineup?

With VW continuing to build out the ID lineup, it feels like there’s a lot of potential for where things go next.

More range, better charging, improved software, maybe even more variety in models?

For those following VW EVs, what are you hoping to see next from the ID lineup?

Sometimes you just have to go with the fun color

It’s easy to default to black, white, or gray, but some alternative colors can really change the whole look of the car.

Did you play it safe with your color choice or go with something a little more fun?

If you’re shopping for a used VW, there are a few things that seem to matter more than others.

Service history, how it was driven, and staying on top of maintenance all seem to make a big difference long term.

For those who’ve bought used, what advice would you give someone before they pull the trigger?

It’s kind of a small thing, but the lighting on newer VWs is really clean.

The way the DRLs, interior ambient lighting, and badges glow just gives them a really sharp look at night.

Anyone else weirdly obsessed with this or is it just me?

The Tiguan doesn’t always get talked about as a “fun” SUV, but it feels pretty well-balanced.

Enough power for daily driving, smooth ride, and still handles nicely for what it is. Not trying to be sporty, but definitely not boring either.

For owners, how do you feel about the performance after living with it?
