for reference, brian’s incineroar had a team sheet error so he got a penalty and wasn’t allowed to use it so he was basically playing with 5 mons, but the fact that he made top 8 with a handicap is a testament of his skill (he is a junior world champion after all)

For context:

Federico Camporesi, an international champion with multiple regional top cuts and even a 2023 worlds top cut finish unfortunately finished with a record of 0-3 into to a drop and was expressing his frustrations with the format.

Somehow this post was misinterpreted and people thought he was saying “i lost because the format is bad” and people are calling him bad and simply putting him down due to a poor performance at worlds when qualifying from worlds is a feat on its own.

What really irritates me is that you get these type of comtns from people who don’t even play the game, let alone even compete on a tournament. Imagine prepping for the biggest tournament of the season only to go 0-3 into a drop, that’ll bum anyone out. Not saying this the greatest mentality to have, but people really need to know to have empathy in these types of situation.

Worg vgc growing with this game, I’ve noticed a lot more hostility when it comes to the meta and agaimst the people who play in tournaments. You hate to see it.

I was playing the game during a lecture and then after class, i tried talking to someone who knew pokemon about competitive pokemon and then the person was looking at me like i was speaking a different language LMAO

With the recent interview with the director of the game, he said they soon plan to implement legendary pokemon onto the game, with how soon they introduced legendary pokemon in SV VGC, expect them introducing legendaries in champions either in Reg M-C or Reg M-D.

Considering they still want to focus on mega evolutions, i’d imagine they would only want to introduce legendary pokemon that can mega evolve. Don't expect mega rayquaza or zygarde but do expect pokemon like latias, latios, or heatran. Out of all them, I expect the latis to come first, we already know how the megas work so the devs don’t really have to spend any time coming up with abilities etc.

I can see only Latias and Latios coming in M-C, if not, expect to see legendary pokemon in M-D.

I remember back in Reg M-A where i would always witness chople kingambit live a STAB close combat from my sneasler
