2016 5.3 - 100k fluids

Haven’t had anything done other than standard oil changes and filters. Just passed 100k and thinking I need to change all the fluids. Anything I should skip or missing? Got a quote of about $2500 from a local dealer. Going to call local shops as well.

Oil change and filter
Spark plugs
Transmission fluid
Transfer case fluid
Front differential fluid
Rear differential fluid

Shocking price for capacitor?

Is this ridiculous? Pretty diy savvy which I did this myself, but I woke up to the ac out on my birthday and a heat index of 100 today so I was happy to pay $3-400, did not expect $700.

I’m in NJ.

Malliouhana vs Zemi Beaches with kids

Looking to book one for spring 2027. We have a toddler and infant. If not for the toddler it looks like we would like mallihouna more but the pool/beach access look much better at zemi. Anyone been to both as a family??

Sill Plate termite damage

Considering purchasing a houses. Inspector found about 4ft of termite damage (that he could find) Do you think we need to replace the sill plate here or just do a termite treatment? Yes the gas line is going to be in the way too.

Painting height

My wife thinks this painting should be 6 inches off the bureau with very little else on top. The center is about 55” off the ground.

I love the art but to me it looks sterile I think we should raise it and add a few things, lamp, plant, vase etc. What do we think!

▲ 1 r/patio

Just closed on this house and we want to make this area a spot with a picnic table and maybe a few chairs. Previous owners definitely just put spare stone down. I assume pavers aren’t going to work well near the trees. Should I just mulch it? Maybe playground mulch. I can’t build a low patio within 5 ft of the fence line so it would be a lot of wasted space. I’m pretty diy savy so open to ideas.
