Ryzen 9 9900X staying around 50–54°C at Idle/very minimal background process - Normal ?

Hey Folks, This is my new PC Config:

  • AMD Ryzen 9 9900x
  • Inno3d Ichill x3 OC RTX 5070 Ti 16GB
  • 32GB RAM 6000mhz
  • I am using a Thermalright AIO 360mm v4 Cooler

Please, see some screenshots of temperature reading of my processor and GPU while at Idle.

Right now I have Chrome and Photoshop open in the background. I'm not doing any rendering or other heavy workload, but those applications are running.

My HWiNFO readings are showing the CPU around 51–54°C, with the minimum also being around 51.8°C during this period.

My room temperature is around 26-27°C, and I'm using an AIO cooler.

Is this completely normal for the 9900X, considering everything, or should I be checking my AIO/pump, fan curve, thermal paste, or BIOS settings?

Just want to make sure the temperatures are where they should be. Thanks!

Is this normal GPU/CPU usage in After Effects with an RTX 5070 Ti? After Effects not using GPU to Render.

Hey everyone,

I recently built a new PC with:

  • Ryzen 9 9900X
  • RTX 5070 Ti 16GB
  • 32GB DDR5 6000MHz
  • After Effects with Mercury GPU Acceleration (CUDA) enabled

I'm currently exporting a fairly heavy After Effects composition with a lot of Keylight instances.

During the final render, I'm seeing roughly (Also, refer to the Screenshots attached) :

  • CPU: ~105W package power
  • CPU temperature: ~68°C
  • RTX 5070: ~28W
  • GPU temperature: ~38°C
  • GPU fans: 0 RPM
  • Render time: around 37ms/frame

The render itself is actually insanely fast, so I'm not experiencing a performance problem. I'm just wondering whether it's normal for the CPU to be doing most of the work while the RTX 5070 is sitting at relatively low power usage, even though CUDA is enabled.

My Project Settings definitely show:

Mercury GPU Acceleration (CUDA)

I assume this is because Keylight/parts of the composition are CPU-heavy and only supported effects like Cinema 4D/Fractal Noise are being GPU accelerated ?

Is this normal behavior for After Effects, or should I be seeing significantly higher GPU utilization during the export?

Just want to make sure my 5070 Ti is actually working properly and I'm not missing some setting.

Please refer to the pictures attached and let me know if I am missing anything. (These readings are throughout the rendering).

APS issued my certificate with only Class X & XII details, completely ignoring my Bachelor's degree (Master's applicant) – Has this happened to anyone?

Hi everyone,

I'm applying for a Master's degree in Germany and today I finally received my APS certificate. However, something seems seriously wrong, and I'd like to know if anyone has experienced this before.

A bit of background:

  • Applied for APS for Master's admission
  • Submitted all required documents:
    • Bachelor's Degree Certificate
    • All semester transcripts/marksheets
    • Graduation certificate
    • Class X & XII certificates
    • IELTS
  • APS later asked me to submit DigiLocker documents, which I did immediately.
  • My university is GNA University, which is H+ on Anabin.
  • My university never received any verification email from APS.

Today I received my APS certificate, but it contains only my school education:

  • Art des Zugangs: Zugang zum Studienkolleg
  • Aktueller Ausbildungsstand: XII Klasse absolviert
  • Lists only my Class X, Class XII, and IELTS score.

There is no mention whatsoever of:

  • My Bachelor's degree
  • My university
  • My transcripts
  • My graduation
  • My degree evaluation

Instead, it looks like the certificate was issued as if my highest qualification is 12th grade, even though I applied for a Master's and submitted my bachelor's documents.

I've already emailed APS asking for clarification, but I'm honestly confused.

Has anyone else had APS issue a certificate like this? Was it simply an administrative error, or is there any other explanation? How long did APS take to correct it if this happened to you?

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

APS Germany Delay – No Update Since Submitting Verification Documents on 4 June

Hi,

I am looking to apply for a Master's in Germany. I got to know about the APS process, so I applied on 18th May. I received a verification email asking for my documents on 3rd June, and I sent all of the required documents the very next day (4th June). Now, it's 22nd July, and I have literally received nothing from their side—no queries, no updates, nothing.

I had all of my documents, including my Graduation Certificate, Transcripts, Marksheets, Matriculation Certificate-cum-Marksheet, Senior Secondary Certificate and Marksheet, on DigiLocker, and I emailed them in the same reply. I also shared my English and German language test portal credentials, as they had asked in the email.

I have confirmed with the Registrar of my university that they have not received any verification email from APS. Apart from that, my university is H+ on Anabin.

I have emailed APS twice regarding the status of my application and to ask if any additional documents are required, but I have received no replies whatsoever.

Now, after looking back, I couldn't find any discrepancies in either the physical documents I submitted or the DigiLocker copies I shared.

*There is only one thing that comes to mind. I completed my Senior Secondary during the COVID period, so we were not issued physical certificates and only received DigiLocker copies. I color-printed that DigiLocker certificate and included it with the rest of my documents (While posting the physical documents). Everything else was submitted as original color photocopies (front and back where applicable).

I wonder if that could be causing any delays or issues. Although, I have already applied for a physical copy from the Board.

I would really like to know what I should do now, because I have not been able to get in touch with APS in any way.

Attached is the Screenshot of Mail I received, I replied them with all of my documents. But didn't got any update yet.
